    The hyacinths came and went first. Now the Amaryllis is blooming. The crocuses had greenery, but never bloomed. Tulips never bloomed. Quite disappointing all in all.

    Sent this as a christmas gift for my husband's grandmother and she enjoyed it very much. She's a gardener but older now so it was nice for her to enjoy the fresh blooms without having to do much work.

    The blooms are beautiful and plentiful. My gift recipients are delighted to see what is blooming new each day. There is only one negative. They report that the birch basket is not attractive. They know it is birch because I told them but say it merely looks like a plain pot painted white without any bark markings. I have not seen it personally but am disappointed because the basket pictured on-line looked distinctively birch, and I chose to order this item over others, even though more expensive, because of the unique pot.
    I would recommend this to a friend with a qualifier that the pot may not be as pictured.

    It’s beautiful! Only the crocuses were blooming on Christmas Day, but the tulips were budding, so we had white crocuses and red tulips, which was quite nice. It wasn’t exactly like the picture, because all the flowers are blooming at different times, whereas in the picture they are all blooming at once, but I like it this way, because it’s lasting longer. The crocuses are on their way out, the tulips are in full bloom, and the hyacinths are budding. The hyacinths should be in full bloom by the time the tulips are heading out. The amaryllis isn’t even thinking about blooming yet, so I still have that to look forward to. It’s like having a series of fresh flowers rather than all at once!
