These tough, polypropylene mesh fences can be attached to posts or stakes to create a quick, temporary fence. At the end of the season, you can just roll them back up again.

Much better than light weight netting which deer eventually broke through.
Comments about Deer Fences:
The only bad thing about about the fencing so far is that catches snakes... I've caught two so far.. My cats and dogs have seen an increase in their rabbits kills since I put the fence up...
Comments about Deer Fences:
Just a suggestion :a strip could be designed to stake down the bottom edge to prevent the smaller critters (rabbits , etc )from crawling under the fence.
This, if provided by you, could be another product to sell.
Comments about Deer Fences:
We put the most vulnerable vegetables in one half of our garden and use the fence around that half. We've not had deer try to go over or under it although raccoons chewed through part of it the first night. We repaired that damage by weaving plastic twine in the area. We put off buying it for several years because of the cost[...] but now feel that if we are going to do any gardening it is worth it to not have damage.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Overpriced--you can get something similar for much cheaper in any [...]. Also, it's just mesh . . . not even any fasteners.Ineffective--my 16 pound cat tore it just running into it.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Its was good and easy to put it up
Comments about Deer Fences:
Really doesn't block your view.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Last 3 years I have been battleing rabbitts and deer;they have been winning. I put up this fence, and i STILL have everything planted!Should have done this years ago!!
Comments about Deer Fences:
this product stole away any last fleeting bit of confidence i had in gardener's supply as a company and their products.[...]. Real junky corporate products, with real junky corporate facade.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I wasn't convinced that a 7' high fence would keep high-jumpin' deer out, but this 7' deer netting seemed a good quality product so I decided to work around it. My fence is 8.5' high and I added extra horizontal rails about a foot from the top and half-a-foot from the bottom to support the netting. It looks very pleasing this way, as a side benefit.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Easy to attach to fence posts. Near invisible, so gives protection from deers without unsightly fencing. Need more time to see if durable.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Advertised as tough, but some of the mesh ripped easily while being attached to fence posts, so I am not sure that it will last more than a season after taking down and reinstalling in spring. However, advantage is that it is flexible which made for ease of installation. Cannot comment on its lasting or effect on keeping deer out as I just installed it. It is "quiet" visually.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I used this product this year to surround my 22 x 22 feet vegetable garden where I have several grow beds, hopefully, to keep out deer and other small animals. I used large bamboo poles to hold it up and so far it is working well. I hope it keeps out deer, rabbits, and other animals. So far, so good. It was easy to put up with assistance.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Very easy to set up. Affordable
Comments about Deer Fences:
I like it. But I have no friends to tell.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I used the heavy duty deer fencing to build a cat fence around the back yard. The material is very easy to work with. It doesn't tangle like the lighter deer fence will, and it is very sturdy. It took one afternoon to set up 300 feet of fencing with top wire, metal poles, and ground stakes. It is completely invisible against the trees in the back of the house. I love this fence !
Comments about Deer Fences:
This was easy to put up and really doesn't block the view of the flowers. Finally something to keep the deer from eating all of my perennials.
Comments about Deer Fences:
created a square from the tomato stakes + extensions. Surrounded square with the netting. Hopefully it will keep the animals out and I have a simple enclosed garden.
Comments about Deer Fences:
This fencing has worked great to protect my raspberry plants from the deer - it is virtually invisible - even my dog didn't realize it was there and ran right into it trying to get to my daughter
Comments about Deer Fences:
garden protection from animals
Comments about Deer Fences:
The fence is high enough to be effective against deer and appears to be quite strong. We put it up around our garden last year and ordered more this year to enlarge the garden.

Comments about Deer Fences:
Putting this fence around the top of a picket fence to keep the deer out. Not very noticeable.
Comments about Deer Fences:
This netting is so much better than the type I usually use that is not coated and is difficult to work with. It keeps my outside cats, the deer, and the swamp rabbits out AND was exptremely easy to install. I like not having to take it down at the end of the growing season. It is almost invisible from a distance, so all you see is the garden.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I am an avid gardener, and normally have a resident herd of deer in my yard. I have a 2 acre yard with an adjoining 5 acre woods, so all the deer have to do is visit my garden to make their life totally joyful. So far, thanks to your product, and to the garden design I have chosen, they HAVE NOT JUMPED MY FENCE.
My garden is a 42' X 120' plot, much of which is fenced with 7' woven wire. I have also subdivided the plot into 4 sections with 7' woven wire (handy for pole beans). Each year I get greedy and expand a little. I use your product for this, as well as for making easy to open "gates" that I can roll back to provide tiller access.
The deer could easily jump the 7' fence, but I feel the fact that it is sectioned makes it appear confining. Maybe my stakes and tomato cages add an extra threat.
I truly love your product. I fasten it to 8' furring strips or 2" x 2" strips and have used such "gates" for over 3 years. It's durable. I do tie a little colorful flagging on it to prevent deer or birds from crashing into it, since it's almost invisible.
This year it's going up around my newly planted apple trees and blueberries. Is there anything deer won't eat?
Thanks for the chance to brag on your fencing. It's a great product.
My Deer Herd...NOT in my Garden!
Comments about Deer Fences:
I use this fencing to keep the deer away from plants they consider delicious. It is sturdy and easy to put up. It is much much easier to roll and store this fence as needed than the deer netting.
Comments about Deer Fences:
We put this fencing around our apple trees. Have not had it up long enough to see if it works for deer, but it sure kept the calves out! Easy to use. We zip-tied an 8 foot T-post to a 5 footer and that worked great. It is stronger if you weave wire through top, middle, and bottom.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Thank you for your great product!
Comments about Deer Fences:
This fencing was very easy to install and has been successful in keeping the deer from eating my arborvitaes. Much easier than the the burlap wrap. it looks much nicer too. It is very expensive though...

Comments about Deer Fences:
This product is usually referred to as "bird netting". It is much too light to keep out deer. I was hoping for middle ground between bird netting and deer fencing - this product is NOT it.
Comments about Deer Fences:
i'm using this fence to protect the arborvitae shrubs around the house from the foraging whitetail deer. So far seems to be doing exactly what I had hoped for. It's easy to set up and looks a lot better than rusting chicken wire.
Comments about Deer Fences:
So much easier to protect a 40 foot row of arborvitaes than with burlap. Virtually invisible.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We tried other Gardner Supply products to keep Deer out of our Ohio garden. Chemicals and motion detector-based gadgets had limited localized effects on particular plants at certain times of the season, but as feeding habits change, everything is in jeopardy. The only sure-fire protection is to keep the deer out. We used Gardner Supply Bamboo stakes for supports and dollar-store tie-wraps to lash the stakes to metal poles and the deer fence to the bamboo. It has worked very effectively. Economical compared to rigid fencing

Comments about Deer Fences:
I easily made a fence around my rose garden using tall stakes and this flexible netting to keep the deer out and save the roses from the deer's constant browsing. The package insert gives suggestions about securing the net at the bottom and not to place the netting too near the plants so the deer don't push into the plants to nibble despite the net. The rose bed is a relatively narrow island so it was not necessary to cover the top to prevent deer from jumping inside, as I had anticipated. That allows me to simply untie the last segment of the barrier to enter and tend the roses, then re-close the net.
The fence is functional, not beautiful, which is an unfortunate reality of living in a suburb that has become a deer haven. At least this allows me to have some flowers and a bit of refreshing color when most of the neighborhood has yielded to the deer.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I was losing plants and especially my tomatoes to the deer who were coming on my patio for their lunch. I surrounded my patio with the screen and haven't lost a plant since but what is nice, I can see the rest of my yard through the screen
Comments about Deer Fences:
So far this product is working great. I use it to enclose my patio so my cats can be outside, but safe from traffic and other animals. I previously used the lighter weight one, but my cats would break through, They can't get through this tougher one. Thanks so much for a great product
Comments about Deer Fences:
So far, the deer have not been in the garden. It's easy to install and disappears into the landscape1

We bought this fencing to keep the birds out of our blueberry trees. But WOW! we got the added bonus of keeping a momma deer and her two does out of the bushes as well. She has recently found our hidden paradise and is enjoying our fruit trees and anything else they find. The fencing is doing the trick and keeping them away. THANKS!

Comments about Deer Fences:
This deer fence is aweful, it is flimsy and snags constantly while you are putting up. I put it up with ground staples all the way around to keep smaller critters from sliding under it, that worked but Animals just chew through it or claw and opening. There were 5 places about 6 inches off the ground where critters got in they ate tops of every carrot plant I had and chewed on celery as well. I now have doubled up the netting, it remains to be seen whether that will work or not. [...]

Comments about Deer Fences:
I live in an area where there unafraid deer in good numbers and lots of birds, I mean a lot. Last year the deer were in my garden weekly and destroyed all my corn, and most of my beans and leaf vegetables. They ate my squash and melons to the ground, twice. The birds got all the blueberries and half the rasberries. I tried the light weight bird netting but the mocking birds broke right through it. I started to solve the deer problem by putting garden fence over my vegetables. I held them up with upside down metal fence posts but the fence is heavy and hard to handle by your self. This heavy duty deer fence solves all my problems. The birds can't squeeze through or break it. Placed horizontally across and held up buy posts, it's a perfect protection for lettuce, beets, chard, carrots and any other leaf crops. This year I've gotten more berries than I can use and haven't lost any plants to deer. I'm very glad that I took the time to look through your catalog.

excellant product
Comments about Deer Fences:
I am experimenting with growing vegetables in wheat straw bales. As I live in the woods in Northern Idaho, I have to protect my efforts from Deer, raccoons and rabbits. The deer fence is easy to put up. I used steel stakes and put thick socks over the end of each post to hold the netting from sliding down the pole. I secured the netting with twist ties. So far the deer have not bothered the area. I will have to see how it holds up in the fall when the deer become more aggressive.
Comments about Deer Fences:
fence in cats (set up simply with bamboo or bamboo-colored posts) to keep them from strolling through neighboring gardens. So far it works beautifully!
Comments about Deer Fences:
Deer were eating tomatoe plants, green beans, and asparagus spears.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I built my first raised bed and stapled the mesh fence to posts to keep out chipmunks and rabbits. Works very well.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I like this producet because it is durable, flexible and 8' tall! i can create a fenced area close to my raied beds by using stakes. The fencing blends into the landscape and essentially becomes invisible to the eye until you are close up to it. Fom the road, you 'd never know my graden is "fenced". But the deer and rabbits do! If I had to say something that's not so great about this, it would have to be that I am not looking forward to taking it down and rolling it up for next year.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I used the fence to fence in my garden. Has done an excellent job and looks good too.
Comments about Deer Fences:
just installed for first season but so far so good
Comments about Deer Fences:
Easy installation with staple gun and is working well so far. Birds occasionally get tangled in it.
Comments about Deer Fences:
This is good material and easy for one person to handle. Just set poles, tacked fence to one and ran the roll around the garden. It is tall enough that I cut some at 4.5' to enclose some tender flowers. Now we can ear our food instead for feeding the deer.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Great value compared to other fencing (stronger than the cheap stuff, cheaper than the strong stuff). This one was both incredibly stronger and very reasonably priced. Easy to install and a nice height for keeping deer out of the garden. We did get a small critter who was able to chew through at the bottom, but this fence is really designed for the height ... an inexpensive way to keep deer out, so I'm not expecting it to be the ultimate defense against small animals.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I have had this deer fencing up for 3 weeks now and the deer seem to have dissapeared. I set it up on 10 foot green T posts. My neighboor and I are thriled that the combination of posts and netting are nearly invisible around our 20x40 foot garden as it is next to the house and therefore visible from the street. We zip tied the netting to the posts and it is heavy duty enough to prevent tears. My only concern is how it will hold up to a couple of seasons here in the inland northwest but if I get 2 years out of it it will pay for itself.
Comments about Deer Fences:
The deer fence is practically invisable so it doesn't distract your view of the garden
Comments about Deer Fences:
Easy installation, looks great & keeps out the animals!
Comments about Deer Fences:
I found it easy to install around my vegetable garden. I used the metal poles from an above ground pool I just took down. I left them in the ground, screwed PVC pipe to the poles to make them tall enough (6 ft). It is strong enough to keep out the deer, rabbits, etc. and stands up to a pretty strong wind. I received the product exactly when I expected, less than a week. I thought it was reasonably priced and is perfect for my problem with the deer especially.I've purchased other products in the past that I have been equally pleased with. I will definitely check with you when I need another garden product.[...]

Comments about Deer Fences:

Comments about Deer Fences:
I have had great success in keeping the deer out of my garden using this fence. I do take it down in the fall, for easier garden clean up and also to save on it weathering over the winter. I can usually get at least 2 summers use, before it starts to weaken from the weather.

Comments about Deer Fences:
My husband invited deer into our yard with corn this winter, and I wanted to be sure they didn't think my first vegetable garden was for their personal snacking pleasure. Your heavy duty deer fencing was a snap to put up with zip ties on metal fence posts, and it has completely stymied all 4-legged intruders (even the rabbits, groundhogs, and raccoons). Also - it was a fraction of the cost of the electrified fencing system we first considered.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We use this product to keep the deer out of our garden. It also deters the rabbits but they can chew through it so we supplement with some chicken wire at the bottom. We have also left the fence up through the winter and it holds up year after year. My husband and I are not the most handy but we set it up easily.

Comments about Deer Fences:
Looks nice, but the heavy-duty fence is not that heavy-duty. So far it seems to be keeping the deer out, but the day after I put the fence up, rabbits chewed a big hole in the bottom. I will now have to put up chicken-wire around the bottom perimeter which defeated the purpose of having a semi-transparent fence.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Nice product for the price. Easy to set-up and from the house all you can see are the posts to support it. So far has kept the deer out.
Comments about Deer Fences:

Comments about Deer Fences:
I bought one of these fences in the heavy-duty model and one of the lightweight versions. The heavy one has 1" holes, and the chipmunks pass right through it. The other has smaller holes, but it was chewed through the first night I tried it and I lost $100 of plants. I'm not sure what animal did the chewing. I know that this is only advertised as a deer fence, but if you are in a place with deer, you probably have a lot of other animals, too, and this fence won't keep them out.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I love that from a distance, the fence is barely noticeable.
Comments about Deer Fences:
This product is the only thing that has kept deer out of the garden.
Comments about Deer Fences:
We used the product around a PVC frame to fence in our garden and used bird netting over the top to protect our crop from birds, raccoons and other varmints. So far so good. The fencing seems durable and was easy to use.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I use it to keep deer out of the rose garden and away from fig bushes. So far it is working.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I needed a sturdy, durable netting to protect my veggie garden from flocks of small "rice birds" as well as from the large Erkle's francolins, members of the partridge family. I had purchased two kinds of "heavy duty" bird netting and returned them---two thin to hold up for long in our local environment (significant UV plus acid rain due to volcanic emissions containing high SO2). All of the deer fencing products I could find online had large mesh sizes that would not keep out finch-sized birds. All, that is, except this one. This material is perfect and is now installed in my walk-in "net house." Mesh size is right, and the material looks like it will last for many years.
Comments about Deer Fences:
This fence has (thus far) kept the numerous deer living in the woods behind our house from coming in to that corner of our yard. With the onset of garden season and so many things blooming, I'm hoping to continue avoiding damage to landscaping and garden plants.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I just rec'd 2-100 foot rolls of the 7 foot deer fence (heavy duty) and put it up around my 30*50 foot vegetable garden. went up easily-best with 2 people. maybe took about 30-45 minutes after the posts were in. i used 8 foot metal fence posts and plastic zip ties to hold. still want to add some 12 g wire to reinforce top and bottom. looks great, seems quite strong and easy to handle. i sure hope it works as we have lots of deer, turkey and rabbit.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Have only had it up a few weeks. So far nothing has bothered my perennials that are just coming up. Usually the deer and rabbits eat them as fast as they come up.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I needed a heavy duty deer fence for my garden and to give my chickens some protection from predators. The thickness of the polypropylene is adequate for my needs.

I used this to enclose my vegetable garden. I connected it to metal posts with zip ties and it went up fast and was super easy to handle. It's almost invisable, but it seems as strong if not stronger than the other deer fencing on the market. A good value for the $$$.

This fence is invisible from even a slight distance, even doubled. I hired someone to put in the stakes and staple up the netting, so I can't say how easy installation is, but sinking secure stakes would be beyond my ability.
As to its effectiveness, so far so good! I hope it continues to keep the deer out of my garden. I can't give the final word until a complete season has passed without marauding deer getting through.

Comments about Deer Fences:
The Deer-X netting is working well. I used this product to cover a "tent frame" (over raised beds) made of 2x2 lumber and 1x2" stock to which is attached the Deer X netting. The 1x2s are removable giving access to the raised 8x8 vegetable (2) beds. Have seen some little hoof prints, but no sampled veggies. However, in the process of laying out the netting, with my wife's assistance, the cat laid down on the netting. My wife (in her walking shoes) stepped on to the netting to remove the cat. The cat moved on, but my wife's shoe sole grabbed the netting, and she fell into it (not hurt). Therefore, I can testify that your Deer-X netting is capable of catching many kinds of "deer-dear."

Comments about Deer Fences:
Fencing around vegetable garden does seem to deter deer, but it is not strong enough to keep them out if they try to go through it. Handling netting is a nuisance as it gets caught on and sticks to everything, including buttons on jackets and shoes.

This product may have been designed to keep deer out, but it also keeps our little dog in! We recently put in a new fence and our dog was able to get through the bars. We needed a new, inexpensive solution to keep our dog in. And this product works PERFECT. After many hours of searching on the internet for a dog proof suggestion, I decided to go a different route.[...] we decide to purchase this product. And I must say, we have not been disappointed. We have attached it to our existing fence using standard black zip ties. You can't even see the netting on our fence unless you are about 1 foot away. So far our dog has not gotten out and we are extremely pleased with this product [...]

Comments about Deer Fences:
Use this to keep bunnies and deers out of garden. Black color does not detract from the cedar branch fence structure. Although not as invisible as the lighter weight fencing, this should hold up better to UP Michigan winters and summer hot sun.

a little difficult to handle but it looks good when it is up. hope it will work for the winter.
Comments about Deer Fences:
During the winter, I wrap the hedge with this fencing and the elk and deer then cannot eat it. Then I remove it in the spring.
Comments about Deer Fences:
Deer are a real problem in our area. They now travel in large groups of a dozen or more. They actually ate my rose before I could get them planted in the ground. This fence is just what we need to protect our new roses!

I have seen this being used in my neighborhood, as a mesh covering over perennials, and it looks very unobtrusive, and it appears to work to keep the deer from eating hostas and other perennials! I am so excited to have it to use next year, in my back garden for lots of hostas. My hostas were totally eaten this year by hungry deer. I am thrilled to have the mesh to use next year, so that my hostas will survive the season....!

Comments about Deer Fences:
First of all, this "light weight" deer fencing is actually somewhat heavier and stronger than the light weight deer fencing available on a roll in most garden and hardware stores. I have only used it as deer fencing in my garden (with bamboo stakes). It is barely visible, so it is not an eye-sore in an otherwise lovely spot (nor is the bamboo). It is very easy to attach to stakes with twist ties (preferably plastic-coated) and can be just as easily removed. Very good product!
Comments about Deer Fences:
Netting keeps deer from eating our evergreen shrubs and some garden produce. Can be reused, but difficult to flatten for reuse and storage. Some larger pieces have been reused 3+ years. Easy to cut to size and tie to stakes. Almost invisible when in use.
Comments about Deer Fences:
I solved a never ending problem with this product. I have a bank that I put landscape fabric on and mulched, but every time it rained, most of my mulch ended up at the bottom. So I put down the deer netting in sections of 10 feet or so (to make it easier to handle) with landscape fabric pins, then I reapplied the mulch. So far so good!! It has held up thru some heavy rains!!
Comments about Deer Fences:
Will use to fence off rose bushes and daylily clumps and other delicious edibles in flower borders.

Comments about Deer Fences:
This is a very durable product. This is my second season using it. I just bought a replacement in anticipation of the first one wearing out. However, it has not worn out yet. The best part about a fence of this nature is that if installed properly, it can be taken down during the day to open up the yard. Then rehung at night to keep the large critters (deer) out of the yard.

Comments about Deer Fences:
Try cutting it into strips and laying it over the garden rows of your most tasty veggies. Keeps out racoons, groundhogs, possum, and deer. Just remember to weight it down (with stones is good enough) or the critters may take off with it, accidently ( don't figure they are smart enough to do it on purpose).

Worked well at first but the deer found it could be split by running full tilt into it, or at first by jumping the original side (regular fence between the berries and the veggies) and getting in. We bought the heavier and more of it now and have surrounded all. So far so good.

We have no fences and mostly enjoy the traveling wildlife show but keeping deer away from a few food herbs and tomatoes is important to keep up the good relations.
We built a small shelter around 3 half wine barrels using the deer fence and it has worked out very well. I close the gate with dog leash hooks. I can tell the deer have looked because they eat any tomato branches that venture outside the fence! The screening disappears from the eye a few feet away so the view from our patio features the greenery rather than the fence. A very useful product.

Comments about Deer Fences:
I use the heavy duty netting around my 400 foot garden area. I first used the cheaper netting and it failed badly, just not strong enough. The heavy duty is great, season after season.

One of the many great things about this product is that you can almost walk right up to it before you see it. My husband liked that since you could still view the garden and all my flowers. Will definitely order again since we will be extending the garden next year!

I have stapled the fencing to some trees to enclose azaleas and rhododendrum. It has kept out the deer which had been feasting on these prized bushes. They now look wonderful with shiny new growth which would be especially appealing for then to dine upon. ...but alas that fencing is doing the job. !!!

We live in a very rural area and tried other products that did not work. This fencing is so easy to put up and take down. It really keeps the deer out.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We have a large community garden on property with a known herd of white tail deer. We installed the heavy weight mesh fence on 4x4x10 wooden posts two years ago before putting in our garden plants and have been very pleased with it. We have had no problems with deer at all! Also the mesh is heavy weight and we were able to install the posts every 20 feet since it is so sturdy. We've recommended it to several other community gardens.
The only challenge has been building a gate that worked with the mesh (7' high). We did need to tie plastic ribbon to the fence every few feet because birds were crashing into it and getting injured.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We ordered the fence last summer after the deer found our new vegetable garden. Supported by rebar stakes and attached with small zip ties, it went up easily and that was the end of the midnight marauders in the zucchini! We took down the fence at the end of the season after a most bountiful harvest, and put it up again this spring. The best garden spot on our property is along the driveway, and we like that the fencing is fairly unobtrusive, very sturdy and easily stored for the winter!

I wasn't sure if this would work on my raised bed veggie garden but I never expected to be so pleased. I used the roll of velcro tape to attach this to t-posts which makes it easy to move, adjust or open to work in the garden.

Comments about Deer Fences:
Deer are rampant in our area. I use the deer fence to keep them out of my two vegetable gardens. I have also been successful at keeping other animals from burrowing under the fence. Great product at a reasonable cost. It's a little difficult to set up. But once it's in place there's no maintenance.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We are using it to protect a small patch of squash and herbs. It was knocked down the first night and needed to have more poles added to keep it streched. Works OK for our small mule deer, but --- Rabbits find it a good appetizer on their way to the main course. We had to reinforce the bottom 2 feet with a strip of gopher wire. Seems to be a lot of work for not great results. This is not a problem with the heavy duty deer fencing. Next time I'll just use the good stuff.

Comments about Deer Fences:
After several years of fighting deer in my vegetable garden I decided to get this fencing and I have been very happy with it. It was easy to put up by myself and has kept my garden safe so I can eat all of my vegetables this year.

I use the deer fencing as a row cover on the garden plants that are especially tasty to varmints. It's very effective in protecting the produce.

Comments about Deer Fences:
Last year before we put up this fence, the deer jumped over the 4' tall fence, and ate what we planted in the garden. This year they walk up to the fence and then walk away keeping the vegetables for our use.

For the first time in many years, the humans in this house may actually get to eat some fresh corn. The fence is keeping the deer out -- so far.

Comments about Deer Fences:
We purchased the heavy duty version of this fence. I debated on this until, one evening shortly after we had tilled the garden, I looked out my window to see 7 deer in the plot. The fence was very easy to install, the only time consuming part was digging the holes for the fence posts and then cementing those in. It is best done by 2 people. There are still large numbers of deer in the fields surrounding our garden, but we have not lost one item to deer, rabbits or other creature.
