I was hoping that this would scare off the mountain beavers which are relatives of the mole and vole family, but they kicked it right out of the hole...I toss it in again they toss it out. So it is cultivating the hillside with all that digging dropping, digging tossing. :^)

Used specifically for moles. Began in a 18 sq. ft. area where the problem was particularly annoying. When you open the package and remove the stoppers, the scent is very strong. As for the moles, nothing changed -- even after using all 12 tubes in the first package. We returned the unopened second package.

An army of evil Moles punched up numerous,gigantic,volcanic mounds in my yard and flower beds. Pouring water and shouting threats and obscenities,(mild)into the tunnels proved useless. I ordered the mole repellent stakes and the result was miraculous!No more eruptions, so now, I sit beside the flattened hills and chuckle to myself. This product needs better instructions for inserting into a gopher holes, as the ones that are given are not practicable. I did manage to insert 2 o4 3, and so far, I think the gophers like the aroma of garlic!

We have a terrible mole/vole problem. You know,the little critters that dig trenches right under the soil and eat grubs. Trying to be eco-friendly, so I thought I would give the garlic repellent a try. It's not too expensive and may help deter the beasties. I am going to try a not so eco friendly method as well, like Sevin, and I recently purchased Milky Spore and will apply that as well. The garlic repellent may work by itself but I am not taking chances. I figure with all three approaches, something will work!

I have a big yard, limited time & energy. Moles must always be watched for! First sign of tunnels, I stamp down firmly. These tunnels show up again, in go the tubes! I have never had a mole return to that spot!

I've tried numerous ways to get rid of moles for the past 30 yrs and this is the first thing that actually works. They're very easy to use (I wear gloves so the smell doesn't get on my hands) and actually last through the spring & summer.

Two yrs. ago, lawn was full of moles! Used these tubes in conjunction with monthly Grub-Ex treatments last year, and was mole free! This product is particularly handy if pests get obsessed with one area! They are reasonable, easy to grab & stick in tunnel, and WOW, do they work! NO MOLE ever came back to those tunnels. They will be part of my lawn care from now on!

Very easy to use, Used several in different places. The mole moved into other areas that messed up my watering system. It made holes in places that allow the water to go to the wrong place.

I followed the instructions and placed one stick in each active spot, then covered the hole. So far, the chipmunks and ground squirrels don't seem to mind too much - they dig another hole and make another tunnel somewhere else. I can't imagine doing this over and over. Maybe it just doesn't work on these particular rodents. I tried using Milky Spore for five years with no results on that, either. Maybe I'm using the wrong product on the wrong pests.

I had high hopes for this product as it was very easy to use - just pop the top, put it in the mole tunnel and cover it up with dirt. There was a very garlic smell but it lasts a short time. It's been two weeks since I installed them and I still have mole holes popping up everywhere. Although the product is supposed to last months, I don't see that it has even started!!

We tried this product to help with the gophers that invaded our yard--all too close to the tomato plants. I can say it really did help. The gophers did not dig in the area after we applied the repellers. They came close to it, but seemed to turn the other way.

Be very careful not to touch the cap with bare hands, the garlic odor is extremely hard to remove. Toss the cap into the hole too. Be sure to tape bag they come in closed to discard as the odor stunk up my garage when I tossed it in a waste basket I keep there and also stunk up my garbage can.

I didn't know the mole holes/rnns are only about an inch from the top of the soil, so using a screw driver I made a deep hole and put the tube in upside down into it and covered it with dirt. Directions as to these two things would have saved me buying 4 packs.

My yard has a zero lot line and I have the little devils in the back and in front yards. I know they are visiting me because of the insects in the ground, but it is too hot/humid here now to weed and feed!

I first used these mole repellers this spring and beleive they help keep moles away. I went through the first pack of 12 and ordered more. Moles are a real problem in our yard and these seem to be an easy to use deterrent.

In our ongoing battle with moles and gophers, I was excited by this product because it's tidy, easy-to-use, long-lasting, and biodegrades. I have to admit, I have only just started using them in the last few months, so I can't yet attest to the long-lasting part. But from the initial activity leaving the yard and no activity for awhile, it's clear I've got them on the run! Be sure and put them deep enough into the ground (follow instructions carefully). I was in a hurry on one and knew it wasn't deep enough, and sure thing—the next day the stake was sitting on top outside! That's only happened once, though, and my fault. We were very amused about it. I'd recommend folks try this product.

The mole that is digging up my yard and garden definitely did not like the garlic pellets. We waged a war. As soon as I dropped them down into the tunnel, the mole threw them out onto the ground. The problem: Since you dig into the tunnel behind the mole, who is at the front of his tunnel, the offensive items behind him just drove him to dig further into my yard. I used the entire package and now the animal is almost up to the house!

Eventhough the product didn't claim to work for voles I thought I would try it. It didn't they dug right over it unearthing the case. It may work for moles, I'm not posistive, the mole we have just seems to keep digging new tunnels everywhere.

I had a yard full of dirt mounds from moles. These repellent items appear to be working well as I have only a few new holes which I treated as soon as they were spotted. My lawn looks better now without the mounds of dirt from these pests.

The ground hogs absolutely hated this product. We are down to two active tunnels. With this product, we hope to have moved them out of our immediate area.

The repelers are easy to use even a caveman could use them. Poke a hole drop in tube cover hole with dirt your done. Within two days we had no more signs of any mole activity.

I dropped these pegs into many holes and am not sure how many fell to their sides to emit an order. I am afraid several got covered by falling dirt and sand. There was no evidence that they worked, but I had many moles so one or two may have left.

The moles that were making tunnels all over our yard have seemed to have gone elsewhere. It doesn't smell very well, but, then again, if it smelled pleasant it probably wouldn't be effective.

This is working. Groundhogs ruined my garden last year. This year I used the gopher repeller in May and it is working great. If it really does last 10 to 12 months then I'll clearly get through the growing season and maybe keep them away in the fall. I recommend keeping these in a shed or garage as they do smell a bit even before you uncork them.

In an attempt to have a pocket gopher relocate outside of our yard, I used 5 containers of this product, 2 of which the gopher returned along with his new tunneling extract. It is obvious the garlic and oil had little effect on this critter... I might just as well added the pasta and provided him a meal. I'm afraid I'll have to resort to the gas to get the little sucker out of there.

I live in a rural area on five acres surrounded by woods. My front and back yard is a little over an acre. Last year, the mounds in my yard were everywhere from the moles. I purchased the mole repellers in April and placed them in every tunnel throughout my yard. A month later, there are no moles and my yard looks great. I love this product!!!

The repellers DID NOT work for us! We did just as the instructions said, and we STILL are dealing with the moles! They are EVERYWHERE! It was worth it to use these to try and get rid of them, but they just did not work- in fact, we found one on the outside of a mole hill like the moles had pushed in out.

We KNOW gophers don't LIKE the smell...didn't cover 2 holes good enough and the devils threw the capsules back out into the yard. Seems the critters are moving away from the garlic-ed areas. Might work GREAT in a smaller yard...we have an acre so can't really tell. Worth a try for us...we have a small dog so NO poison!

We had great results with this item last season and will continue to use it every year. Ground moles are very well established in our area and we have tried everything to rid our yard of them and this product is the best we have found to control them. We have a dog and we are very careful about what we put in our yard and with this product we feel very safe. We have over an acre of lawn and gardens and this really does work

we have 2 small children and live on a waterfront property so we so not want to use chemicals. The garlic mole repellers have not worked. The moles have continued to be active in the treated areas as well nearby the treated areas. I have applied a lot of them, hoping a higher concentration would work, but no success so far.

I used the product as directed. The first application in May seemed to work about 3 months. I mixed it up with poison worms by TomCat. I must have the most persistent moles They no longer take the poison worms. And now the moles actully started pushing the smell vials out of the tunnel to the top of the ground. (just started today. Found two out and they rerun the tunnel) Now they run with new tunnels every day, and in every direction. They now hit places which I have never had them before. I know they come from the neighbors who do not maintain a much of a yard, and then they pick a spot in which to start burrowing, usually along the edging and away they go. Is there anything else you would suggest?

Consistent use of these repellents really does seem to chase the moles away. However, my yard is large and the moles just seem to move to another spot. The product seems to be effective for a region about half the size of what the manufacturer claims.

This did not stop the rodents from eating our vegetable garden. I am not certain if we had the wrong rodent type. We tried this last year and something kept eating our plants. I rotated the crops this year and haven't had a problem with rodents yet. We have more rodent holes in other areas of the property but no damage to the yard.

Didn't work for me, but it turns out I have voles, not moles or gophers. If the voles were repelled by these, I didn't notice, probably because there are so many of them. Have considered defoliating my acre, but... no, will try the other 500 possible remedies before I give in.

This is one of the few things I've tried to keep voles out of my garden that works. Even better, it's not chemical or toxic to my dogs. A great product!
