    Comments about Garden Groom, Jr.:

It doesn't work! The guard moves the branches away from the cutting edge as you move across the bush. Its overpriced & underpowered.Took 15 minutes to trim a section that took less than 4 minutes using a regular trimmer.I would nor recomend this to anyone-stay away.

This is a safe and useful addition to our gardening equipment. It is the right tool for the job. No mess hedge and shrub trimming. You just empty the reservoir in the composter.

Purchased cause plants need good trimming. My growth is over a couple inches and proved useless just shredded the leaves but never cut the stems. Hard to hold, difficult to use, and not very effective.

    Comments about Garden Groom, Jr.:

I use it to trim/shape yews and other hedges/bushes. It works exactly as advertised. Greatest benefit is that it cleans up after itself, shredding and collecting clippings.

One thing to note, however, is that it works best when whatever you are trimming is out in the open. In a densly landscaped area you may still need to do some hand trimming.

    Comments about Garden Groom, Jr.:

We mostly purchased this for our teenage son to use. We had to teach him to slow down and take his time (which is a problem no matter which hedge trimmer you use). We bought the lighter one so I can use it; I have a bad back but this causes me no problem to use. I like the clean up part the best, but it does spit out small bits.

Easy to use. Easy clean up. Need a heavier trimmer for thicker branches when cutting below new growth line. Friends all wanted to use it when they saw how easy it worked.

    Comments about Garden Groom, Jr.:

I first purchased the Garden Groom Pro because I thought bigger would be better. My neighbor saw me trying it out and was very impressed. The drawback for me is that I am a small female and the Pro was a little heavy and difficult to handle. I told him I wish I had purchased the smaller one which would be fine for my trimming needs. He said he would buy the Pro from me and I could get the smaller one so I did! I love it and it is the perfect size. It does a great job, not perfect, but 100 times better than the clean up I had with regular hedge trimmers. [...] Thank You
