Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

Seemed to work fine. There was a rumor of blight in the area and last year we lost most of our tomatoes to blight. So this year we sprayed and no blight to speak of. Honestly not sure if it was the spray or that the blight did not reach us but for the price I would do it again. As the label says, it can't hurt anything anyway. And if it helps save all those beautiful tomatoes we spent so much time on throughout the growing season it only makes sense!

Use this as a preventative for blight and fungus in your vegetables and tomatoes if you consistently see the problems year after year. Once the heat and humidity set in, I spray every 10-14 days. Its easier to stay in front of the problem than to catch up on it once its been spotted.

I used this pruduct to slow the spread of late season blight. I have mixed results but keep in mind the plants were already infected prior to spraying. Two store bought plants have died. Eleven home grown seedlings are surviving better and I have canned 25 qts of juice so far. I will probably be able to can another 14 at least. I did not see instructions for use on the container so I just sprayed one time and the bottle was gone. I will use again but I will try to learn more before next season. The home grown seeds were Gurney's beefsteak and earlygirl.

I got tomato blight early this year and it has wiped out most of the early plants. I tried this product and it saved about a third of the plants. I put in a new set of plants and started treating before any blight showed up and so far... so good. I am pleased with the results and have learned that, just like rose diseases, I'll have to start treating for disease in tomatoes before any shows up. That just shows what an amature gardener I am! But I learn!

I thought I had lost my tomato plants again this year, but I purchased this stuff, mixed it up and sprayed my plants and within days they looked great, no yellowing, spots, or blight! I have never had so many blossoms on my plants before. Great product that I will have in my shed every year! I really like the fact that it is so safe and enviromentally friendly. It is not harmful to benefitial bugs, like bees and lady bugs. Great stuff and I highly recommend it!

So far this product has kept my veggies green & disease free this spring. The real test will be in a few months when wilt & fungus usually hits the tomato's. I sprayed twice, once each month, with the diluted version offered in the spray bottle to limit self contamination but still wore a mask & covered up well before use.

I lost my Fugi apple tree to crown rot and then found it on all of my other apple trees. I was told that I should remove all my trees, wait a couple of years and try again. I found this product, sprayed it on the affected areas and the crown rot stopped spreading and the area healed over. All of my trees are still doing great after three years. Late in the fall and early each spring I apply it to the branches and really soak the trunk near the ground. I love this product!!!

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

Used this product on our tomatoes. Since we made three major changes in growing tomatoes: bought transplants from grower, used black plastic to keep rain drops from splashing on plants, and used this product, it is hard to tell just how effective it was. When all was said and done, it seemed to work, and we will use it again in 2010.

I called the manufacturer about the unclear instructions on how much product to use to make four gallons of spray using a hose end sprayer. I got the impression they needed to adjust the instructions to meet the needs of backyard gardeners. The customer service person was helpful.

When all the neighbors for miles lost their tomato plants to Early Blight this year (regardless of whether they were nursery plants or started from seed), our plants stood tall, full and strong with an amazing yield. Serenade is certainly no miracle product; infected plants elsewhere fell victim with "after-the-fact" attempts made by others, but with proper preventative care, it worked extremely well for us.

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

Some of my clematis have the dreaded disease Clematis Wilt. The reviews of Serenade were good and I decided to give it a try. I bought a bottle of Serenade last year and used it this Spring on my clematis. All my affected clematis are still standing strong and pretty. I am so pleased with it that I bought the Serenade concentrate.

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

I still lost lots of rose leaves to black spot, although I was not super-concientious about using this product regularly, and for all I know, I would have lost more if I hadn't used it at all. More than 15 of my roses need treatment (why can't all roses be as disease-resistant as rugosas?), so I went through the bottle pretty quickly. I'm now trying an organic off-the-shelf product from a local hardware store, and we'll see if that's any better, or if I get the same results.

I grow and raise Chile's and Peppers and had a nasty attack of white powdery mold with black spot. I purchased Serenade and used it once and have not had any signs of the mold returning. It is very easy to mix and does not clog any sprayers or clump up in the bottom. Other than the odor of the liquid there are not any negative factors in my opinion.

Serenade is effective on Cedar Apple rust, scab and tomato virus. It is easy to mix and apply and I am especially satisfied that it is organic in nature and I do not have to worry about waiting, washing fruit or having kids and pets under the trees for a period of time. It can be on the expensive side if you have bigger apple trees, but it is worth the investment for me.

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

I was so excited to get this product, as I had been hearing about B. subtilis as a chemical-free treatment for powdery mildew for years. Once I got it, it worked like charm, even after just one treatment. But the instructions read like I should wear a haz-mat suit! It freaked me out a bit that a supposed organic gardening product wanted me to wear a mask during and shower and launder clothes after using. I know it's a bacteria, but still...geesh! It worked well though. Only 2 applications so far, and I haven't seen anymore powdery mildew.

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

I grow veggies in a public gardening plot due to having a wooded, shady lot. As such, it is difficult to rotate my tomato plants to avoid early/late blights. I decided to try the Serenade product since it is described to be an organic solution to these problems. I applied it weekly just before it set in and I didn't really get any better results than doing nothing like I have in the past.

Comments about Serenade® Garden Disease Control:

I have turned all of my gardening friends on to this product -- including one who owns a professional nursery. It is the only product we know of that works on tomato blight. I have taken a badly blighted tomato plant, removed all of the yellow branches, and then sprayed it well with Serenade and -- with additional sprays every 2 weeks or so -- had no further blight problems. This year I sprayed a couple of times in the spring, before any blight appeared (the bottle says that's more effective) and so far, no blight at all and no additional spraying. This product has also saved six red-osier dogwood shrubs I had that were practically dead from a bad attack of anthracnose -- I cut off all blackened wood and sprayed heavily with Serenade every couple of weeks or so last year, and this year I did one prophylactic spray only -- so far, no problems and my shrubs look healthy. Even last year, when I was doing all of that spraying, I think I only used 6 tablespoons of the concentrate -- very cost-effective.
