I have constant problems with those pesky moths in my pantry. I keep two of these traps on the upper shelves and it seems to help control them. The trap has a bait that the moths love - it is amazing how many are trapped. They are small so you can just set it out of the way. I highly recommend this product.

Comments about Pantry Bug Traps, Set of 2:

Very shortly after opening these traps and placing one in my pantry and one in an upstairs loft space, I saw several moths flying around the house. I hadn't seen any in weeks but they obviously were around! After a day or two there were about 4-5 moths in each trap . The only downside for me was that it took one moth two days to die within the trap and I felt guilty feeling that it suffered, stuck to the sticky glue. Because of that reason, I got rid of both traps and will be trying to control our moth problem (again!) in a way that feels more humane to me. But the traps definitely work as they were intended to work, and they work well.

(These buggers don't just stay in the kitchen but tend to fly into other rooms as well, i.e. dining, living room etc. I placed traps not only in the kitchen but also the cupboards in the laundry room and also one on top of the china cabinet in the dining room. All have been successful in trapping the moths.

Comments about Pantry Bug Traps, Set of 2:

When I figured out that my bins of birdseed were the source of the cereal moths, I got two traps. The one in the basement by the birdseed has a couple dozen moths already, and the one in the kitchen has a few. I haven't seen moths flying around since the day after we put these out. We can smell them, but it's just a faint perfumey smell that doesn't bother my husband with his chemical allergies.

Traps the moths and keeps them out of food in the pantry - so no more problem with bugs and larvae in crackers and other dry products. Also does great in general in the kitchen. Easy to use. I put one on a shelf in my pantry, and one out on the counter in the kitchen. Totally eliminates the problem.

I bought this to replace a similar product that had been very effective--lots of trapped moths I didn't even know were near my grains. I'm assuming this trap will be equally effective, but it has the downside of a fairly strong, sweetish odor that now emerges when I open the cupboard door. My previous traps had an attractant patch, as well, but did not introduce an unwanted smell. This product would probably work better in a larger, open pantry.

Comments about Pantry Bug Traps, Set of 2:

I had a can of bird seed in my garage that ended up getting pantry flies. some of them managed to get into the house and invaded the corn cat litter I had in the basement.

Even though I cleaned up the mess there and got rid of the corn cat litter, I still have these flies breeding somewhere in my basement. The traps work, but seem to have a limited range. Unfortunately, my basement runs the whole length of my home and is filled with lots of stuff. I just wish I knew where or what they were eating now.

I have placed pantry fly traps four of them throughout the room and have been catching some, but they keep on breeding somewhere. The only way I know it is not working as well as it should is because these flies end up coming to the top of the stairs where it is warmer.

I can see where this product would work in a food pantry or cabinet. But to get them all in this large a room is not effective. I have four traps located around and even though it still catches them, I still have more around even after several weeks.

We ended up with this problem due to an old box of dog treats. I read the review before purchasing, and it seemed the users without the soapstone cover have more positive results - so I just bought the traps. These are FANTASTIC. We've caught many moths in the first 2 weeks. We're hoping with continued use and 'squashing' the females, we'll have the problem cleared up in no time.

the best part is watching the little buggies go nuts after getting a wiff of the pheramons in the little pad. They practically throw themselves onto the the adhesive surface.

I also put my grain products into zip lock bags and well sealed containers to help starve them out as well.

We hadn't had infestation for several years, and the baits on hand were no longer in service. We'll have to remember to place an order every other year, I guess. At least time we got to them before they'd gotten into the bulk of our dried stored items this time.

We had problems with meal moths in out pantry. Some got in cereal. We did not discover where they were coming from until they started flying all over the house. We were killing them with the flyswatter. We happen to see the traps in your magazine and decided to order some and see if they work. They do work great. We have almost got rid of them. We had tiny moths flying all over the house, not just the kitchen. We searched all over and could not find the source. My daughter found and recommended this product. I put two of the bait/traps out, both in the kitchen. Within hours, the flying moth population was 75% reduced. Within a full day, almost gone completely, in two days, no moths to be seen. It has been about two weeks since I put the traps out and no moths to be seen. I don't know if they will come back or not, but if they do, I know what to do.

Comments about Pantry Bug Traps, Set of 2:

Soon after moving into our new home we began to see a few pantry flies each day. But with each new day their numbers grew at a staggering rate. We would spend our evenings with swatters for the flies and deep searches all over the kitchen for the small larvae before they hid and started weaving their little nests. An email from Gardener's Supply brought us the answer to our dilema.
With only four traps our pantry fly horror was practically over, and while I've ordered more to finish the job, I'm realizing now that by catching the flies we'd also prevented egg laying so the new traps that are on the way to our home will be saved for the day we ever have another infestation.
We are so very grateful for a pesticide free way of clearing our homes from these annoying pests.

Comments about Pantry Bug Traps, Set of 2:

I set up the trap on top of the pantry cabinet where I have the most moths. Literally, within minutes, there were 4-5 moths hovering excitedly nearby, and I just caught and killed those myself. Typically, I catch and kill 1-2 a day during warm weather. When I checked on the trap about 10 days later, there were maybe 15 more moths trapped, plus 10 or so more on the second trap. I consider this to be very effective. It has not eliminated the problem, yet, but I have to believe (and hope) it's put a big dent in their population!

The only thing I would change would be to make the cardboard "tent" simpler or prettier and less obvious so the trap would not visibly call attention to itself (for humans). Find a nice place to hide this trap, unless you want guests to know about your pest problem. The product seems safe - but one can only assume. I keep it well out of reach of my 2-year-old, cats and food products.

When I ordered this product I thought we no longer had pantry moths; however, the day the package arrived so did the moths. I caught my first moth as I was assembling the trap; it actually flew to the trap and was caught mid-air. At one point in the past the infestation was so bad I threw out everything that I thought could possibly be infested and later found a bottle of Italian herbs that had been home to the moths. It is a mystery to me how they got into a glass bottle with a screw top, but they did. I actually have one trap in each of the two cabinets in which I store packaged products and one out in the open, just to be sure. All three have clearly been effective. They are worth every cent.

I've been using this product for two years. We had an terrible problem with pantry moths getting in to flour, cereal, you name it. Even stuff I thought I'd carefully sealed turned up with moth larve and moths were everywhere. Now I put out the two traps, one on top of the refrigerator and one in the nearby utility room. After a couple of days, you look at it and there are moths stuck to it. I have a pet bird and have to be extremely careful with chemical sprays. As soon as this season's moths showed up, I ordered another set and the problem is handled.

I keep a very clean home. Somehow I managed to bring pantry moths into my home, probably from the grocery store or wholesale club. As soon as I opened the sex lure they swarmed. Please note the lure does not eliminate the larvae, it however helps trap what has hatched. You have to find where they lay the eggs to completely rid your pantry of this disgusting pests.

With a larger pantry, I keep one near the cereal shelf and one near the baking products, right near the products most likely to attract the moths. They work great and I rarely have moth problems. Be sure to completely clean the area(s) first (I use Clorox), as the baby bugs will easily re-infest, even w/the Pantry moth traps.

Its amazing how many of those little moths come out of birdseed for my canary and treats for our dogs. I never realized that there were so many of them. The moths seem to come from something in the kitchen too. I hope its not my cereal. The traps work perfectly. I was getting very tired of watching those little critters fly past me. I am vegetarian and have a lot of 25lb bags of organics grains and flours in my house, also jars and cannisters of grains and flours in the kitchen. I had a terrible moth problem until I discovered these traps. They catch the males, so the females don't get pregnant and lay eggs in my supplies. The amount of moths have diminished unbelievably. I couldn't live without this product. A must for anyone who has a moth problem. And it's so easy to use. Just place a lure in the trap and hang it up or place it in an appropriate area. I highly recommend it!

These have worked very well for us. I had a major infestation of those darned moths last summer (damp, hot weather) and it got all the worse when I went out of town for three weeks. My house mate didn't think to keep cleaning up the worms, throw out infested flour, or keep flour in jars. And, did you know that the little buggers will also go for your dried lentils and beans? And don't talk about the rice.
I used another trap for several months and it kept things under control, but I still had plenty of moths flying around.
This product has absolutely done the trick. It does have somewhat limited range, but I only need it in the kitchen. It sits about 3 feet from the cabinet and I have seen so few moths in the past 2 months that I almost forget they're a problem.
My only problem was figuring out how to pull off the stripping and insert the lure right side up. Plus, I lost one of the lures -- I wish it were sealed onto the lure or its packaging in a more secure way.

I placed this product in two places with problems. The bugs were attracted to it, and their "tribe" was greatly reduced! It is a clean, safe, easy way to get rid of the pantry bugs.

Last year I found my pantry full of moths from bird seed I had stored in there. After trying unsuccessfully with many other products I tried Revenge and within weeks I had my pantry back again! This is a product I will never be without! The instructions are simple and it does all the work after you set it on the shelf! It works wonders!
