DynaTrap attracts biting insects three ways; with CO2, UV light and heat. Once pests reach the trap, a fan draws them into a sealed collection chamber. Just hang the DynaTrap in a protected area, plug it in, and empty the collection chamber when it’s full. Enjoy summer evenings outdoors again!

Hard to quantify if this product worked the first season, but when the bulbs burned out and I ordered the very expensive replacement bulbs they didn't even light. [$]

Comments about DynaTrap:
Ok people...1. It works when it is dark out. 2. You need to set it up AWAY from where you are sitting! Do NOT sit under it because it is attracting the mosquitoes and bugs to it and you are in it's path so they will get you too...you should be about 15 feet away from it. I live in New Jersey where the state bird is the mosquito (just kidding) but it is our New Jersey joke..so listen up and follow the proper directions and you will not be disappointed.
Comments about DynaTrap:
We purchased the product last summer and it seemed to help with the mosquitos but did not eliminate them. The big problem came when the bulbs burnt out. I ordered replacements, but the new bulbs didn't light up. [...] Pretty expensive for one summer's use. I'm not giving this company another dime.
Comments about DynaTrap:
it is NOT trapping mosquitoes at all. i am getting eaten alive in the garden. plenty of moths , tho.
i'll definitely return it.
Comments about DynaTrap:
putting the band around the top and awaiting the "dehydration" of the bugs is tedious.

Comments about DynaTrap:
Product is not worth the investment. Although it is quiet and non-odorless, it is grossly inefficient. The mosquitos are winning once again.

Comments about DynaTrap:
Mainly just attracts moths and beetles. The beetles sometimes get stuck in the fan and stop it. Ants are attracted by the dying bugs and they are all over it.

This product is easy to install, then you just leave it alone. Once every week or two you clean out the bugs.

Comments about DynaTrap:
Some bugs fly out when emptying (scared me first time). However, it is unbelievable how many bugs this thing traps. I'm amazed and thankful they aren't loose on the patio. I can finally enjoy sitting outside!

Comments about DynaTrap:
The fan locked up tight & stopped spinning.
Didn't even get thru one summer.
Trapped lots of moths, and a few skeeters.
Really not worth it

Comments about DynaTrap:
This product is great if you have it in for moths. I have used it for about 2 months and have seen no decrease in the number of mosquitoes.

Comments about DynaTrap:
I am one of those people who attract biting insects. In the past I was not able to go on our deck after 6pm in the summer without being attacked by insects. I no longer have a problem with insects on the deck. However, the product states that it is good upto 1/2 acre. I find that if I go off the deck I get bug bites. It is an inexpensive option for a small area.

Comments about DynaTrap:
I have installed this product several weeks ago, but there still seems to be a large amount of mosquitos in my yard. In examining the bug well, there doesn't seem to be a large amount of insects trapped in the chamber. It may need more hanging time to deplete the number of mosquitos in my yard - that has yet to be determined. I will continue to use to the end of the season to determine whether or not I will use next year.

This product does a nice job of catching moths, but doesn't do much for mosquitoes.
