Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This is pretty nice. Seems durable.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
We are using this for the upside-down tomatoes. The stand went together fairly easily, but the system for securing to a deck could be better thought out. It requires drilling through your deck and bolting it down. I found after I had drilled all the holes that the two sections of the center pole weren't butting together, which gave me concern about its sturdiness. To fix it I wedged a shim under the center pole and that seems like it will work well. The provided bolts for attaching it to a deck are not well designed; they can protrude up with bare bolts exposed dangerously. I used my own bolts going downward with nuts and washers screwed on from underneath.
The stand should double as a nice bird feeder hanger in the winter.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
It is a very sturdy wrought iron hanger which is exactly what I wanted. It also can be used to hang flower hanging plants. I hang half tomatoes and half flower hangers. LOVE IT!!!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Not clear in catalogue that the growing sacks do not come with it, Stand is fine.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
[...] It came with no directions. [...] I have it sitting on my outdoor patio with tomato plants hanging from it.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I have this on my deck. Since I live in NC I was worried about Hurricanes, but it already survived a tornado.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
As with any item purchased from Gardner's Supply quality is a very strong point
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Very sturdy and easy to assemble
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I have 4 upside down tomato plants growing on this holder. It's tall enough and very sturdy for these heavy plants. Very attractive too! Could also use to hang yard art, house plants etc.
It comes with attachment parts to secure to a WOOD deck and into soil or grass. The only area we have with the best sun is on cement, and the only way to secure it here is to use sand bags, which is not too pretty. Since we live at the beach, we are hoping that we don't get too much wind! The unit itself is heave and sturdy.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
[...] assembly is relatively easy. [...]...this was outside one week and the screws are already getting rusty. i guess i didn't read very well because the size is SEVEN FEET, funny that the picture doesn't look that big! it is sturdy and i was pleased that it came with ground supports for the wind...
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
WE PLACED OURS IN THE GARDEN. HAD TO DIG A HOLE AND BURY THE POLE ABOUT SIX INCHES. THEN FILLED THE HOLE WITH CEMENT. ALSO WENT AHEAD AND INSTALLED THE LEGS. HELPS IT TO HOLD STEADY IN THE OKLAHOMA WINDS.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I was disappointed to find out I needed to drill holes in my deck to anchor this product. I do not recall any mention of this in the ad before I bought the product.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I grew four tomato plants on mine last year with excellent results. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for this coming season.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I have many potted plants, including hanging tomatoes The branches are good for that. On the other hand, the base is too big. Once upon a time, you had a similar product with a center post and stakes that went into the ground. At least offer something like that as an option as you do bolts for the patio.
On another note, we may be a minority, but your catalog does not really acknowledge zones 9 and 10
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
love it, makes it easer to water, and I can put it anywhere I want to.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Used with the Hanging Pots. Need a solid surface with the adequate space to accommodate the planter.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I bought this for hanging tomatoes next year, but also plan to use them to hang plants we've brought in over the winter in our sunroom. The metal hanger sections are thick metal and the overall design is not only attractive, but quite functional with the collapsing center load pedestal. I've very pleased with this. Don't know how it will stand up to the weather yet.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I needed a sturdy plant hanger for our deck to hang bird feeders on. The wind is an issue and nailing the hanger to the deck is not an option, so the 4 steel legs are doing the job by themselves. The winter winds will be the real test and I'm hoping for the best. :)
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
this product does all that it states it will, and is the most sturdy hanger that I have seen. Performs exactly as it should, and can be used again and again, thanks for carrying this product
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I bought this holder due to the fact that I had 4 hanging planters and I was worried that my dogs would try and eat the tomatoes once they started to ripen, since they have done that in the past with plants in the ground. I was also worried about the holder that I had obtained from the local store here in town. This planter is strong enough to hold all four plants and remain stable in the wind and rain storms we have had so far this year. Only problem that I noticed so far is the bolts that came with the product have rusted.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I could not find any stand (reasonably priced) to hang my tomato plants on This is just Great!!!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This hanger is great--easy to assemble and very sturdy once assembled. The height is just a little high for me. I used the Revolution plant hangers with this, and I have to stand on a chair to see inside (and I am 5'7"). I have had no issues with instability at all, despite some intense storms since I put it up (I have it standing on a concrete patio and did not even need to use sandbags with it, which is recommended in the literature). I expect this hanger to last for many growing seasons.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
We are first season users, and this was great for our small gardening area. The squirrels did not bother the plants.

This hanger is very sturdy and holds the hanging tomato bag really well, very pleased,
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Very sturdy compared to other plant stands.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Was very interested in trying upside down tomatoes, but didn't have a place sturdy enough to hang these heavy planters. Then I saw this 4 arm hanger. So although late in the season, I planted a Healthy Kick tomato, and to balance it I planted a hanging strawberry planter. I placed my 4 arm hanger on a cement terrace in the full sun and hooked up a drip line with an automatic timer to my individual plants. My tomato is flourishing! I am so pleased that I plan to hang 4 tomato planters next year. The strawberries are not doing so good, for some reason. I am really pleased with this hanger---it's tall enough to allow the tomato plant to hang without being too close to the ground, yet not so tall to make watering impossible. Having drip lines going to each plant makes watering even easier. The 4 legs make this 4 arm hanger very stable--I have no worries of it being knocked over. I am getting such enjoyment from watching my tomato plant grow and flower that I would not hesitate to purchase this product again.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I bought 4 "topsy turvy" plants. Once you put the dirt and plant in one, it is very heavy. I couldn't find anything heavy enough to bear the weight. Then I found the 4 plant hangar from you. It works very well. In fact I bought another one, and plan on using it indoors this winter so I can grow tomatoes in my basement.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Had my doubts...but it is doing great in our OK winds. Easy to assemble.
We are past 85 and this makes raising tom. a lot easier.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
The Four Arm Plant Hanger is wonderful....extremely sturdy and wonderfully attractive being placed on my deck. I have two upside down tomato plants hanging from it and two hanging flower baskets...I just LOVE IT....only thing the folks who designed this wonderful product could have improved upon are the little screws that hold up the bottom legs...they rust because most probably they are not stainless steel...after the growning season I will replace those screws with ones that won't rust...other than that it's ALL you'd want in a plant hanger...very very sturdy...holds the promised weight and thensome and because it's bolted down it will NOT move even in the strongest of winds...I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a plant hanger....truly, it's WONDERFUL.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
had purchased the single stand for a single topsy tomato and had no trouble hanging the planter with plants and seeds. This 4-planter stand is very tall for someone who is 65 inches. I found it quite difficult hanging the planters--needed my husband's help. Do I regret purchasing this item--no, but one does need help if they are short.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I do like it. Mine leaning a bit to the right and I've used some large rocks at the base to make sure the wind doesn't get the better of it. I hope the deer don't figure out how to find it.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I tried building my own stand and it failed miserably. The stand has been a blessing. It is strong, stable and I have two hanging tomatoes and two beautiful flowering plants on it.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
How do you rate something when you haven't experienced varying degrees of things to review on? It's pretty; it seems very sturdy; I like that it's mobile; and the height is perfect.
I hung two tomato revolutions on there and it didn't faze it with the weight but I haven't used its full capacity yet either.
We haven't had any crazy storms so far, so I don't know how well it's going to hold up under that yet, but we'll see..
I just got it, so I cannot comment on how well the finish lasts..
So basically, it's somewhat of a preview-review and so far I have great expectations!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I loved it. But it wasn't hurricane wind resistant which a freak storm here produced.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I love the four-arm plant hanger. It's exactly what I wanted to display my hanging baskets in the summer.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Wonderful product. Very sturdy.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
great for topsy turvy
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I bought this product based on all the GREAT reviews that I read. I was looking for a STRONG fixture that would hold my tomato plants...this definitely fits the bill..The fact that it holds FOUR tomato plants is defintely a plus[...]
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Live in a wooded area, no space or light for traditional garden, have turned to container gardening. This hanger sits on the ground beside the two tier ground level deck, have other containers on the deck with vegies and flowers. If the upside down revolution planter for tomatoes and cukes don't work out, can use for hanging flower pots, and considering using in the winter for bird feeders.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Looks great, easy to assemble
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This was a nice surprise. I thought the plant hanger would be flimsy and unable to support the heavy tomato plants. But the planter is solid and stable. I like the fact that it came with pins for solid surfaces and ones for the ground. I put mine on a gravel path and it's holding up fine. In fact, we just had a storm come through the other day and the planter held up just fine. Even if you don't use it for the upside-down tomato plants it would hold hanging flower pots very well. I and my tomato plants are very happy with this plant hanger!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Very sturdy product
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Though I have only had the 4 arm hanger for about 1 week, I think it going to work out well over the long haul. It is well constructed, and the paint seems sufficient to avoid minor scuffs, scratches and rusting.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Nice, sturdy hanger for 4 upside down garden plants -
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
We are hanging 2 upside down tomatoes, one upside down pepper plant and one hanging flower basket to balance the planter. We have not weighted down the feet per the instructions and we frequently get strong thunderstorms with straight line winds. We live across from an open field, so there is nothing to block the wind. It has held up well.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I really like this product. It is very sturdy. I found out that the screws are not for outside use, as they rusted very quickly. After this planting, I will swap them out for stainless steel ones.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
allows you to place tomatoes where you have full sun. really expands your garden space.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Got one for 4 upside-down tomatoes. We get some really gusty, strong winds in the Spring here in western Colorado and this hanger didn't even wobble! Got a second one and have 2 tomatoes and 2 big flower arrangements on both. Quite a neat show off to the ends of my large patio and easy for me to care for from my wheelchair.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Perfect for the hanging garden(s).Sturdy construction, definitely handles the weight of four plants.Wished it stood alone without having to bolt down to the patio.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I have two of these holders for my hanging veg. garden and I love them. Even during a heavy storm the stands never gave way and help the plants firmly.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
advertising of this product is deceiving. It does not come with the Hanging pots or hooks. It is a lot to pay for a pole.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Set up hanger in front yard. Had hard time digging out area to make it level. Had hard time hammering in stakes as ground was hard. Love the design as did not want to install hooks in siding of house, wanted something away from the house. Works perfectly for us. Able to hold 2 strawberry baskets and 2 flower baskets. Placed flower pots at base too. Wish you would create bag or pot that is wedge shaped to put at base for planting. We don't want grass to grow there, too hard to mow.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I love this. I have it on my patio with 4 tomatoes hanging from it. It is very study and hold the heavy plants. It is attractive as well as functional. It is taller than others I have seen and I love that it holds 4 plants.
My Mothers' Day Gift to myself!

This hanger is well made, attractive, and easily holds 4 of the Revolution planters full of water. Just make sure you keep the load balanced and keep it well anchored. Easy to assemble.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Great product. Sturdy. I like that it's so high off the ground.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I am very happy with this plant stand. It's tall, strong, attractive and holds 4 hanging plants, bird feeders, etc. And it's stable too. Even without using the optional stakes or screws for added ground support, it held up fine during strong winds and rain. The option to use the stakes or screws to secure it to a deck offers extra stability if needed.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Nice thing about this is that it holds 4 plants so you can grow more tomato's..

Built very well, it is strong and very nice looking and gets the job done. it is very easy to assemble. A great hanger.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Great product easy to assemble. Dual usage to hang bird feeders in the winter.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Sturdy and easy to assemble. There are better ways of packing the stand than forcing one to cut the yards of adhesive tape.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
The ability to use the Hanger for vegatables or plants is good. Also you do not need to use all four arms.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
The only compaint I have is it is a little pricey, and the packages were hard for me to handle, (I'm old). It is very attractive, designed and built "strong like bull". I have it in my front yard garden for sun reasons and it is very attractive.I was suprised how well the watering system worked, very awesom. When planting I thought this would be a cluster, but I just zipped it up and everyting was aligned perfectly. I'm a happy camper.I would have rated it a five, but I dont know how it is going to hold up over time.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Great for growing upside-down tomatoe plants! If you use in a grassy area and are needing to use some kind of ancor, I have found that a screw type ancor works real well. You can find these ancors in most hardware stores. They are used to screw into the ground to hold dog chains etc. You may need to make the hole in the legs just a little bigger, but this adds stabelity in areas of high wind. This plant hanger is the best I have found on the market!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
It is very heavy and sturdy. Once I read the directions it was easy to put together. So far so good, but only had it a few weeks. Did not blow over in 50 mph winds either! Let's hope it really grows my tomatoes and peppers.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
We bought this to hold 4 upside planters for vegetables and fruit. Once you add the dirt, the planters get real heavy so we needed something strong and durable. We've had ours for about a month and are extremely happy with the product.

Sturdy design, very easy to assemble.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I tried other ways on topsy turvey last year. this finally appears like it will work
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I am using the tree holder for the first time. I find that keeping it steady is a challange since I don't want to drill holes in my concrete to anchor it. The extra space for more vegies is a nice plus.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I used this plant hanger for two upside tomato plants and two hanging flower pots. Having the mix makes it attractive to look at. I liked that you were able to place it on a deck, patio or in the ground.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I purchased this for my 85 year old mother who absolutely loves the Topsy Turvy idea. This way it is closer to the house for her to water the plants and enjoy seeing the growth. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. This is an excellent gift for any age. Read the reviews and like the idea for also using it as a bird feeder and possibly wood chimes. Mother and I are very pleased with this product and the company. Next I may purchase the Revolution Planter.

This hanger is the best that I have come across for hanging upside down tomatoes
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This was very easy to put together. It sits on my deck and is very sturdy. So far, my tomatoes are thriving and the deer, chipmunks etc, do not get to dine on them.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
growing tomato and cucumber plants and this will fill the bill just nicely!!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
I bought this to hang some new Tumbling Tom tomato plants. This is perfect for displaying the plants in the middle of a concrete patio. The local home megacenter only offered single plant hangers that need to be staked in the ground. Now if only my little tomato plants would hurry up and grow big enough to be hung from their hanging planters!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Love that you can grow four tomato plants in one stand. Keep plants off the ground.
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This looks like it will do the job that I have ordered it for! I will be using it to hang the Topsy Turvy tomato planter and a cucumber upside down planter that I got. Looking forward to the end of May when I can truely set it up. Have it outside getting it used to the elements
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
This was easy to assemble, very attractive and very sturdy. I am looking forward to seeing how my tomatoes, pepper and eggplant do growing upside down!
Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Very easy to work with

It is being used on a small patio in a large apartment complex. Doesn't take up much space, but, handles four full grown plants easily.

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
Living on the coast, with sandy soil and thunderstorms and high winds, this stand is PERFECTLY designed to withstand ALL these elements and remain sturdy and upright.
Shopping locally, I found only stands with a single post to be planted in the ground. This design does not work in our sandy soil. The legs of the FOUR-ARM PLANT HANGER are placed at an angle in such a way that the stand is very stable. When the weight of the hanging plants are added it becomes even more stable.
Our growing season is longer here on the coast and what a pleasure to not have to stake or install guide wires after every rain storm.

I specifically bought the item to hold a birdhouse and feeders. I live in a rental unit and needed something portable, attractive and sturdy for my porch. It looks great and fits on my porch nicely and it provides stability for the feeders. The birds enjoy it as do I!

Comments about Four-Arm Plant Hanger:
While 7' may sound pretty tall, once you've hung your revolution planters and your tomatoes start to grow, you will realize that they will touch the ground very soon. We had to tie our vines up and severely trim our plants so that they were not skimming the patio. The fruit was right at critter level but at least we didn't have any of the other problems of slugs or late blight. The picture is deceiving as it looks like there is plenty of clearance. We have our bird feeders on it for the winter and it works very well for that and keeps the squirrels away.
