Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These are great! I have used these for several years on my 2nd floor deck to grow tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, carrots, herbs and sweetpeas. Now have 3 troughs and 2 squares. I found it helpful to have a long-necked funnel since I do not have a hose nearby and have to use a watering can to refill the reservoirs. Also, the refill spouts don't wear well (crack, plastic breaks) so the funnel helps there too.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I got the wrong impression that these might be made of solid, high density composite plastic, but was disappointed to find they are made of hollow plastic. Kind of cheap and flimsy. The water level gauges don't function properly either.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
When Prodict is filled with dirt and water it can be heavy
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I got 3 they were expensive but, when I am away I wanted them to not need water. 2 were fine but, one had a broken water level gage- disapointing when I paid so much. Also I couldn't tell it was broken till it was full of dirt....
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Putting these together takes some patience, but once it's done, they seem sturdy and move around easily with the casters (without them, they'd be nearly impossible to move). I've had them for about month now, and am happy so far. I'll be interested in how they hold up over the years. These are on our deck with tomato plants. I'm hoping they keep the soil a bit more wet than everything else used over the years. Most of our plants fry during the summer heat and sun. Keeping my fingers crossed these planters will prevent that!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Really difficult to assemble and whatever you do, don't make a mistake! Make sure you have someone with good strength to help. For the price, it really should have at least been partially assembled.
The planter looks great, but the gauge doesn't work at all. Not sure if this is because there was a mistake made in assembly or what, but it leaks all over the porch once it's full. Since it's filled with plants, no way to see why this is happening.
It is a nice looking planter, but I don't really think the price is justified.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These are a perfect replacement for the old whiskey barrels that were on our pool patio. The length/depth dimension could have been a bit larger for multiple plant options, otherwise they work well.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I just love this planter. It was easy to assemble, very sturdy, and worth every penny.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Bought two containers to use on the small stoop in my condo complex. I needed something attractive to avoid any potential hassle with the HOA and these look nice and are weather resistant. They are pretty easy to assemble (the instructions are clear) perhaps the only issue is that it does require some strength to snap the pieces into place which can be resolved by having a mallet handy or in my case my husband easily assembled. My only negative comment on the containers is that the water gauge although it works does not really correspond to the "full" marking within the water tube.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Great looking. They're exactly what I anticipated. I bought three and am planning to plant them with large "living bouquets" as soon as frosty Northwest weather permits. I've placed them in front of my raised front porch on 20x20 cement pavers and partially filled the containers with planting mix. Can you tell I'm excited to get started? The only thing missing is warmer days. Come on Sunshine!!!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I already had 2 of the trough planters in green.[...] I use them for privacy and filled them with wild flowers that can tolerate the Florida sun. So nice not to have to water them every day.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I've had two of these boxes on my doorstep for 6 years. The last few years the white has turned to grey and looks awfull. No amount of bleach or TSP has changed anything. Would love to know how to clean these as they're holding up fine, outdoors year round.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planters will look great on the front porch and require less watering with the large resiviour
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I purchased two of them, arranged them on either side of an outdoor bench, and planted knock-out roses in them. The look is very classy!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I have purchased two of these and have been very pleased. I have a small Hibiscus tree in one of them and a trellised Bougainvillea in the other.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I bought two of these planters to flank our front doorway and they are perfect! They are large enough to accomodate a medium holly bush and the self-watering feature is so convenient. The planters have not faded in the afternoon sun and can be easily washed off with a hose. The design echoes our Williamsburg architecture and we've received many compliments. We definitely recommend these planters!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I've had mine for about 5 years and they're still holding up- very durable. The brown has faded a little but they still look good. The weak element is the water-level meter. After a year or two it will stop working, and after multiple years the top of the clear plastic watering tube will start to chip off unless you're extremely careful. Sometimes the water doesn't always flow in. One tip: If the water doesn't flow in, pull up (gently) a little on the tube. If you know you're going to have these a long time and don't want to hassle with the watering tube breaking, it may be worth it from the start to just go to the hardware store and get some 2-cm PVC pipe cut to the right length. Drill holes in the bottom couple inches and use it instead of the supplied tube and clear cap. Then just fill it until it runs out the bottom (if you don't mind that in the spot you'll have it). Despite this design weakness, these are still great high-capacity planters that will make the difference in keeping patio plants alive.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I was a little concerned after reading the reviews that I would have difficulty putting these together by myself. However, I found that with the use of a rubber mallet I had no trouble assembling it alone.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Not only a great product but staff was so helpful and patient!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I don't recommend using casters if you're putting these pots on porches that are not enclosed. My pots were blown off the front porch by the wind. I took the casters off and they are just fine (only difficult to move). The cover for the water gauge broke off within a month and the water gauge has since been filled with debris and doesn't go up/down anymore. Unfortunately, there are no replacement gauges available to fix the problem. White planters get stained and are hard to get clean too.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I got this planter for a climbing jasmine. I'm hoping this will enable me to move it to a more protected spot once winter arrives. My husband made a lattice to exactly fit the planter and it looks great. I have other self-watering planters and also the inserts to make any pot self-watering and am totally sold. Now I can't imagine going back to the old way.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
This planter was not as easy to assemble as one might imagine. Instructions were good, but quite a lot of force was needed to put the sides together. We installed wheels to make it easier to move. Looks great on my patio.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
easy and pretty
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Although it is too early to tell how this item will perform over an exteded period of time it has an atractive design, looks good on a deck, seems to perform as designed and I had no problem assembling it together.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Water level indicator does not work! I have 2 units, and 3/4 gallon of water must be added daily.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I am a non-gardener who loves to see flowers, and who forgets to water. This container is wonderful, even on our south-facing deck in growing region 5.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I am hoping this planter really works. It was difficult to put together. The directions were hard to read. After I had all the dirt in, I realized I'd done something wrong. If it works and keeps my plants watered, it will be worth it, but the jury is still out.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I cannot get the sides to lock into the corner pieces. Tried for about 40 minutes Sunday night without getting a single piece to lock in. I am very disappointed with this product.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I bought two of these to grow patio tomatoes and I know the self-watering feature will be very important in making sure the plants don't dry out. But it was really hard to put together! Complicated and required some muscle, too. I don't know how an older gardener without an able partner could manage it.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I planted a Sweet 100 cherry tomato plant in this one and it is growing great. I really like these planters. I have 2 of this size and 4 of the 39" x 39" size, all in hunter green. I decided to try container vegetable gardening this year and these planters were much easier to use and gets the plants up where I don't have to bend over to tend to them.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planters look great after you get them together. For the amount that they cost you would think they would come assembled or at least partially assembled. The instruction to absemble was good however you have to have alot of strength to put together the sides
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I planted a dwarf orange tree last year which thrived. This spring, 3 more planters were added to my balcony garden with blueberry bushes and herbs which are also doing very well. I have ordered dwarf meyer lemon and key lime trees to plant into two more planters.
Self-watering is necessary for me because I travel for business for a week at a time and live in a hot summer climate where otherwise, I would need to water almost every day that it doesn't rain.
I added a square of landscaping fabric at the bottom to keep the soil from dropping into the reservoir and it does not seem to impede the self-watering function.
The float in the filler only worked well in one of the four. If I had thought of it before I put all the soil in, I would have put a cube of styrofoam under the float to give it a boost... too late now.
Extra note: the casters are another must-have to move these heavy planters for cleaning and rotating for even growth.
Though obviously plastic-looking, they are reasonably attractive and it is a acceptable compromise for low maintenance and longevity.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I bought 2 of these last year and purchased another 2 this year to use at our weekend escape property. Even during the dog days of August, the plants had enough water to last a week between waterings. When I can afford the window boxes, I plan to add them!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
An easy project as long as you read the directions first. Very attractive, needs lots of planter mix so make sure you have a handy supply. I am not too sure how well the reservoir works but in time I will know. Sure does look nice!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Plants have thrived despite full sun, reflected heat and low humidity on our cement patio.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
It complements my garden and landscaping!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planter itself is easy to put together for the most part. The only negative is that the part to gauge the level of water in the planter is fairly flimsy and doesn't always work well so you may have the resevoir leak water before you realize it is full.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I too wasn't too crazy about the price, given the fact that it's just plastic... but when I looked around on-line, this product had a lot of the other ones beat. It looks great and I made sure to assemble it slowly like the other reviewers had suggested. I can't wait to buy more, they are just so functional and I love the fact that an arbor can be attached to them. My tomatoes and cucumbers are growing wonderfully right now.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Once you have pur 1 together, they are pretty simple. 1 of them leaks every time you add water, regardless of if you add 1 cup or 1 quart. will have to wait until winter to disassemble and see why.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Good for when I go away on vacations and much less maintenance when I am home.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I own a large one and four small ones; I've been using them for four years. I do not use casters as I have my planters on a sloped driveway and in a sloped part of the yard. The large one is used as a cold frame, and for lettuce, leafy crops, carrots and peas. The three small ones are used for columner apple trees (x3) and a rotating crop (this year tomatillos). They look nice and everything I have planted in them has thrived. As others have mentioned, the filler tubes just do not work properly nor do they last. I also have other self-watering pots from Gardeners.com with similar filler tubes that also have failed. Some caps have never closed properly, at least half of mine have cracked or broken caps and once you start using the filler the float that tells you that the reservoir is full generally quits working. Last year I called about this problem and I ended up buying 4 newer filler tubes but I have 3 fillers tubes that will need to be replaced this year. The fillers in all of my Terrazza planters have failed (broken tops, can't tell when full) the filler tubes in other pots have not broken but in most the water level indicators no longer work. The water seeping out of the bottom of the planter is the only way to tell if they are full. If this keeps up I may just replace the filler tubes with PVC pipe as I am getting no value out of the tubes that come with these planters and these filler tubes are expensive to replace on an already expensive planter. I have been tempted to buy more of these planters but I do not think the filler tubes are well designed nor useful.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I had to get my son to assemble it for me as I didn't have the strength to snap the pieces together. Now it's planted with a dripper filling the reservoir and everything grows well.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I don't often put things together and this one was a challenge. At one point, I put a post on wrong and could not get it off even though I followed the instructions provided.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These planters are efficient and well designed.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The self watering planters are so convenient. They take the worry out of daily watering and relieve me from having to ask neighbors to water while I am away.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I've had several of these planters for two seasons now, and came back for a couple more! I have the brown and they show no signs of fading, even though they've been out in the weather for over a year. The watering tube/cover became brittle after a few seasons in the elements and the cover flaps have all broken (the water level indicators never worked - I just filled it until I saw water leaking out of the bottom of the planter)...but it doesn't really effect the performance of the planter. They are SO attractive and durable! LOVE 'EM!
Side note: Evidently you can disassemble these planters with the tool that is provided - so save it! I had read another review that says they're impossible to take apart once put together, so I avoided ordering a joining kit this year to turn my two troughs into a corner planter (L-converter kits were out of stock last year). When I got my new planters and saw it was possible to take them apart, I was bummed!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
We have a lot of concrete, so attactive containers help soften and beautify the area.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I had not been placing flowering plants on my porch at my beach home. Watering them regularly was impossible so they always ended up dead. These planters have solved my problem. I have only had to refill the reservoir once in the last 2 weeks and the flowers are beautiful.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
We use this planter plus 3 longer planters along side our house for impatients. In one of the longer planters the little indicators do not come up. I called and was sent a replacement tube, but these do not come up, either, to indicate how the water level. On another of the long planters, a leaf that was in the watering can became lodged in the water indicator. I had to take out the tube to remove the small leaf and when I replaced it, the black indicator no longer comes up. Other than that, the boxes look fantastic and we have gotten many compliments on them.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Sturdy and attractive.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
We've assembled the planter without difficulty and it looks very nice. Regrettably, I cannot actually use it yet as I am awaiting a replacement set of castors that are backordered for a month. I won't experience the planter functionally until later, so right now can only say it LOOKS GOOD.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Rather than water just leaking from corners, one leaks all along the sides when full; water level gauge doesn't come up to mark when full, so I don't know when to stop filling.
Already planted, so can't take apart and see why it leaks. Probably error in assembly.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planters are very attractive, but a bit pricey considering they are plastic. They also don't drain really well, so can get too wet even without watering. However, I would still recommend them.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Handles the weather well and keeps it's bright, white finish. Excellent garden accent!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I purchased these for our vacation home so my plants thrive in our absence.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The instructions on filling the reservoir are not listed. I had to call for guidance. Something about the black flotations valve.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The capacity allows me to grow climbing roses and bush roses very well even though I rent. The self watering feature makes a huge difference in S. California.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These planters make it possible to travel and keep plants watered while gone. I now have 8 of them!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
To grow tomatoes.
The color and size is great
the planter sides did not stay together. need a
different system.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
a little difficult to snap together but once you get the hang of it.its not too bad
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I had wooden planters that rotted away after 5 years. I needed to have something attractive that would last and enhance the look of my yard. I bought the white square and 3 of the trough size and the plants, shrubs and decorative tree look beautiful inside these planters. The planters make the yard look organized and create a border of plants.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
easy to put together plus great looks
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Transferred a large, health potato vine with ease. The vine is doing very well and the watering system works great.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The directions are clear, but it's a definite two-person process putting these together, and if you do it wrong, you can't take it back, even though they say you can. Assembly is very difficult on the hands and arms. I don't regret getting it though, because of its looks, there are few out there like it.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Most importantly it greatly cuts down on how often we have to water. I have gorgeous plants without the work of frequent watering. The water capacity is excellent and the plants never root rot. These containers make it look like I dote on my plants when in reality I am very lazy about watering. We go on vacation for weeks at a time and the plants still thrive!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I bought two of these, along with the casters. One I assembled with no problem, though I wouldn't recommend it for people with arthritis!! The other one I am having trouble with assembling, so I've put it away until I've developed a little more patience !

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I was pretty happy with the 4 I purchased but after the first year of service the watering funnels (plastic) started to deteriorate. Year 2, the covers for the funnels disintegrated. Year 3 the funnel themselves started to deteriorate. 2 out of the 4 water levels never worked properly. I would like to purchase replacement funnels but they don't seem to be available.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
It was easy to assemble, they are very attractive. We are disappointed that the water level float does not float freely enough to let us judge how much water to add. We have tried just measuring in amounts but the box leaks onto the floor every time. We would like to add additional water to the top, but we cannot do that as that always leaks out. It rolls nicely, but we have to keep them in a plastic second low box so we cannot use the rollers without lifting the boxes out of their base. Our goal was to not have to lift them anymore. I would only conditionally recommend this to a friend and then only for out of doors.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The directions and markings on the pieces of the planter are insufficient. I can handle assembling things, but I never got to use the planter because in assembling it we put one piece of it on another piece in the wrong direction (an easy mistake to make). The mistake could not be undone because of plastic clips that held it in place. The mistake made it impossible to assemble the rest of the planter. I had to throw it away. One expensive mistake!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Nice in appearance and very weather resistant. Size is great for my Meyer lemon and lime trees. Water reservoir doesn't function well (one arrived broken and won't stay operational)...and by that time I already had trees planted. Otherwise, beautiful and functional. Comes with optional casters, but didn't know that until I opened product brochure--get the casters! Planters can be heavy to move, especially if used outside permanently or transitionally.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The container itself rates five stars. My problem was the assembly instructions written in tiny text. It should be made clear from the beginning the screw end of the feet point down.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Easy to assemble and looks great!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
We bought two white planters for our outside deck. They were fairly easy to put together, and look absolutely great. We love the fact that they are self-watering, and can't wait to bring them inside, too. We're planning to buy a few more, in fact!

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These containers are very well designed and engineered, but hard to assemble for one who doesn't have good hand and arm strength. Pictures in instructions small and hard to see for a couple intricate steps. Instructional drawings on casters don't match these containers, and a cap is included that doesn't fit the planter. Once it's together, it should work very well.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS I HAVE BOUGHT SIX. THEY LOOK GOOD AFTER BEING OUTSIDE FOR OVER A YEAR
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I love this planter it is sturdy and was easy to put together. It looks great on our front patio and is a perfect complement to the larger ones we have. I love that you are given so many options with these products. I almost wish I had more area so I could get more.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I bought it for my tropical hibiscus, which had been in one of your round original self-water pots for years. The pot worked very well, singularly responsible for the bush's survival each winter. The trouble was that it would blow over too easily on the patio. The Terrazza planter is much more stable because the base is as big as the top.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I cannot say anything bad about these planters. They are being used as patio planters for tomatoes but I plan on getting more. They are stunning and easy to assemble. I can no longer get down to garden or cultivate flowers due to arthritis. These planters allow me to have an elevated avenue to have vegetables and pretty flowers to decorate my home. The additional casters are essential for easy mobility when adjusting position even with soil and water in reservoir. I love my Terrazzo planters!!!!!
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Perfect for weekend gardeners or travelers. The neighbors always comment that our flowers look the best in the neighborhood and we are only in town on the weekends!! They water their containers everyday without the similar results and always ask how we manage to keep our containers looking so good.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
An elegant look which added a finishing touch to my deck. The self-watering container was a perfect feature while I was away for 2 1/2 weeks visiting out-of-state family. I returned to a very healthy and flourishing planter. Every plant material was in heavy bloom with rich foliage.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
This product looks good and keeps my plants watered even when I forget. The problem I have is that the plastic legs have broken off easily when my dog has bumped into the planter. Since the legs screw into the bottom, replacing them will require emptying the planter to turn it over.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planter is very easy to assemble. It also looks great on the deck. I filled the water, planted my tomatoes, added the tomato cages and that was it. I haven't had to add much water throughout this summer. The tomatoes seem to be coming along great all on their own. About once a week I check the water levels and either add or leave it be. The only thing I have noticed is that it will leak every so often. I think this is when there is too much water in the planter (like after a rain storm).
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Time consuming & difficult to assemble self-watering tray.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Uses it for container vegtable garden
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I now have 5 of these in my back yard. I put one together and I had a terrible time. After that, I paid our gardener to do it, and he had no trouble at all. Four of them sit over a foundation of white rock and they look quite snazzy. The 5th one is on casters on the patio. I did notice that in a heavy rain it leaked dirty water on the patio, so that's something to watch out for.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
My mom lives in assisted living and can have a patio planter outside her window. With the self watering planter, it is easy to keep the plants watered. I just water when I visit every week and the plants are growing like crazy which she loves.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The assembly was not easy. The sides were difficult to snap together (and I ordered four!). For the cost it should have been easier or done for me. I definitely like them now that they are finished as they do work. I just wouldn't order them again.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The 3 containers I purchased hold beautiful clematis vines growing up the posts of my guest house patio. Since I don't live at this residence in the summer, the self-watering feature keeps them healthy and alive in-between my landscaper's visits.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
The planters are used on the patio, looks great in the pictures, but after a difficult assembly, it still leaks water, and you cannot tell how much water is needed in the reservoir, since it leaks. Didn't realize how much assembly it involved.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Used to soften solid concrete patio to the fence off kitchen. Area sunny and hot, below roof of solar panels so water resevoirs work great.
Needed to elevate on platform casters to ease hosing off patio and moving planters around. Recommend getting casters meant for this container bottom and placing before filling. Regular casters slip out of frame holes.
Kitchen garden fabulous and so convenient.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
My neighbors wanted to know where I got the white self-watering planters. Lots of great comments - we love them as they accent the house with petunia plants overflowing! Highly recommended...my best summer purchase
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I am wishing the little "bobber" in the watering tube was bright red as on your window boxes. Because the bobber is black, it is difficult to see.
I use a small funnel in the watering tube to help "aim" the water to fill the reservoir.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
It took a while to get the right parts but once we had them everyone is very impressed and I gave a catelog to a lady at church after she heard about the self watering part.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
SELF WATERING CONTAINERS.......amazing, fill once every few days, and the plants look beautiful. the water is wicked to the plants when they need it. Before,I watered when the plant was drooping over the pot. (good indication it needed watering) now, theres no guess work. The car, electricity, and the self watering container, who could ask for more.
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
I have 2 square planters and 2 trough planters. I am a bit dissappointed, as I expected better quality for the price. Two planters were missing the water level, which doesn't work very well anyways (not as avertised). The planters should be solid pieces and not parts as the water leaks out onto the porch.
This is the first product I have ever bought from you and been disappointed...
Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Saves valuable time on weekends, takes care of itself. With casters easy to move around patio to make different groupings. A bit difficult to install the resevoir in the base. Takes some strenght and sometimes 2 people. With hot Ks. winds this helps with healthier plants throughout the summer. Since they have a more even moisture level.
