    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

These window box facades didn't seem like they would hold up, but they did! We stained them to match other wood furniture pieces. They look lovely and finish the look of our balcony space. Although they are light weight, they fasten securely and easily and hold up to occassional high winds. Easily put into place, too. Excellent value. Love 'em!

I love, love, love this product. I wish they had more available in the larger windowbox sizes. You install as is, (it's sealed wood) or you can stain/paint it the same color as your fence. This was the purchase of the decade for me!!!

The flowers look beautiful with this enclosure. I can't wait to use it in the winter for Greens. The wood looks beautiful with the Chicago brick on the front of my house. They look well made (not cheap) and not too formal for my ranch style house.

    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

Love my new windowbox facades, I primed and painted them to match our window shutters and they look great. The only negative for us is they have no bottom, so for second story windows they need some adjusting, if you are handy a bottom can be added no problem. For the price I found nothing that compares!!!

    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

We purchased 5 of the self watering window boxes and also bought the wooden covers to dress up the overall appearance. They were easy to assemble and do add a finished look that matches the other wooden "highlights" on the front of the house. A couple of neighbors commented on how attractive the new wooden window boxes are. When I showed them that the boxes are plastic with a wooden cover they were pleasantly suprised.

This looks great over the self-watering window boxes. As soon as my plants get big enough, you won't be able to tell the actual box isn't made of wood. Assembly is next to nothing and fits perfectly.

    Spruce up your window box
By Middletown gardenerVerified Purchaser from Middletown, De on 10/18/2008

Attractive Design, Easy to use, Good construction, Paintable

    Oil based stain finish

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

Good for sprucing up the plastic self-watering containers. Hinged sides allows them to be folded for easy storage should you want to take them in during the winter months. They do come with an oil-based finish, which makes it a little more difficult to paint if you live in a state where oil-based stains/paints are no longer available due to environmental regulations.

    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

I wanted window boxes that would be low maintenance but dressier than plastic ones, and something that would last a few years. I thought that all-wooden boxes would be too heavy and rot out sooner than later, even if they were made from cedar. I wanted window boxes that would be easy to install. These window boxes were perfect! They look really great on my woodland home.

Wife said right away "Oh that looks nice
By SMCVerified Purchaser from Trenton MI on 7/11/2008
    Pros:
    Easy To Use
    Cons:
    Hangs lower than pictured
    Best Uses:
    Patio
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Windowbox Facades:

The predrilled holes for the hanging brackets puts the top edge barely above the planter so the planter is easily seen until the flowers overgrow it. You can't adjust it downward because there's no thick wood for the screws.
