If some of your outdoor planters are too big or heavy to easily move indoors for the winter, you can protect them right in place with these tough, woven polyethylene covers. Steel eyelets and nylon ties at the base snug the covers securely to keep out rain, snow and ice.

  • Easily protect outdoor planters through the winter months
  • Ties fasten securely to keep covers on in spite of wind

I happened to receive these right when we had a sudden hard freeze, and I was scrambling to cover everything up. These were perfect for protecting some pots of bulbs that I had just prepared. They go on so fast--just pull the string!

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

I have several and find they work best if you put something rounded on top of the planter dirt and then use the cover so that the water runs off. They
make it easy in the spring to rejuvenate the soil without starting from scratch. We live in a very rainy and windy climate and these work well.

Was going to use on some expensive pots (got a good deal on them and want to protect) but really not substantial enough. Using on less important pots and will find something else for the stars.

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

If it hadn't arrived the day before our first snowfall, I would have returned it. I've purchased several similar items from other vendors and this one, while comparably priced, was ... cheap. Time will tell how well it performs.

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

We needed a cover for a recently purchased fountain to winterize it. I was delighted to find this product because the fountain is 23 1/2" round, and the cover is 24". We haven't gone through a winter season, but I feel like this product will hold up and do the job. Delighted!

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

I like that there is a tie at the bottom to tighten the cover around the pots. I also liked the fact that I could stack smaller pots in larger ones - all fit nicely and the smaller ones created a dome on top to keep water from pooling and freezing on top of the cover. Saved me lugging a lot of large planters around. Now all I have to do is remove the covers and start my replanting - come Spring.

We bought this pot cover to put on our outdoor firepit (propane). It was ideal for keeping out snow and rain. The firepit is cast aluminum and stays out year round. This was PERFECT. So, as you can see, there are many uses for this product. Be creative.

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

When I first put these on the outdoor pots, the rain and snow puddled in the top and froze. So I took them off again and put a fairly tall empty plastic pot upside down on top of the soil before I put the covers back on. Worked great. Now the snow and rain run right off instead of freezing.

Just purchased these this fall. Hoping they'll stand up to New England winters. Wish it had a drawstring clasp to keep it in place once tightened.

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

I have 2 large pots that are fairly lightweight - from Gardeners Supply. Amount of soil makes them heavy. Got these covers to try rather than hefting the pots a considerable distance. We'll see how they work over the winter, but I added empty soda bottles to top of soil to prevent sagging. Cover still fits almost to the bottom of the pot.

    Comments about Round Pot Covers:

This is the first year that I am leaving my large planter outside over the winter. I previously had to empty it out, clean and store inside.... (too much work!) Now I can just empty the planter, cover it and leave it outside... I love it!
