    Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:

I used this mix with the railing planters, and so far, I have been very impressed. I planted flowers a week ago, and they are doing great. I watered the flowers well once I have planted them, and I have not had to water them again this week. We have had a little rain, but not a lot. It has not been as hot as it will get later in the summer, but I'm guessing that, even then, I will only need to water 3 times a week, rather than every day, which is what I have had to do in the past, with anything planted on my deck

    Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:

This drought-resistant container mix is amazing! It is so light weight, that I didn't need my husband to lug the heavy soil bags to the back yard! The water absorbing polymer in the soil really does what it is supposed to do...keep moisture in the soil so less watering is needed! I am using mine in containers for my garden in my new greenhouse and it works great for new seedlings as well as established plants. You just need to remember to add some plant food every once in a while with your waterings. Overall, an excellent product!

I use this soil in my planters on the deck. In the past my mid-summer all my flowers were dead. I either watered too much or too little...just couldn't win. So far my pansies look great. Will do more planting and wait to see how they look by mid July but so far so good.

Nice lightweight soil mix for balcony type flower and herb planters that do not have automatic watering systems. Price for the 32 quart size is very economical, especially after I checked pricing for similar products at the "Big Box" stores.

    Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:

We purchased this product due to a polite recommendation from the on line salesperson that took our order. She described the probability of the pot drying out because of nature of it hanging on a railing. We mixed this product with our own peat and black dirt and the flowers are flourishing and have not had the soaking/drying out cycles most summer pots go through. The dirt holds moisture very well.

    Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:

I don't like this soil at all. It had so many twigs and other trash items that had to be picked out of the soil as you were planting a plant. This type of soil would be fine for large plants that already have an established root system but for small plants, it would be difficult for their root systems to get started if the twigs, etc. were left in the soil. Use of it was additional chore to planting plants.

    Comments about Drought-Resistant Container Mix:

I grow perennials in containers where the wind blows a lot, drying the soil out. This Drought Resistant Container Mix holds moisture longer than other polymer products I have used. It saves on water, watering time, and conserves the nutrients for the plants use. I have converted all my containers to this mix. Thanks, Gardner's Supply!!!

This stuff is great if you're like me and forget to water the poor container plants in this summer heat!
