This is the easiest method for watering not only my topsy turvy planters, but all my hanging plants. I use it all the time for the baskets on the porch, in the trees, in the garden - everywhere. I love it.

    Comments about Topsy-Turvy Waterer:

This is a great invention but it is made with cheap plasic and for the price definitely not worth it. I purchased 1 the first time and broke it by screwing the nozzle onto the bottle too tightly. I then purchased 10 and ended up breaking two with in the next month! If they improve the quality of the plastic or the design of the nozzle so that it doesn't separate it would be awesome!

Great and practical item. It does take some getting use to, the handle is light and the full bottle can be a bit akward and heavy to balance when you first use it. After the first couple of times using it, I became and old hat at it.

Great idea but tedious to keep unscrewing, refilling, and hooking it back up for more than one hanging plant.

I loved this product when I first got it, because it made reaching my hanging plants a breeze. However, even following the cautions not to fill my old soda bottle, the item still broke in just a few weeks.

Good idea but not strong enough
By marshcatVerified Purchaser from Manhattan Beach, CA on 7/9/2008
    Pros:
    Handy for waterinig high
    Cons:
    Leaks
    Best Uses:
    Outdoor Garden
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Topsy-Turvy Waterer:

I thought the product worked well, until it broke. The plastic cracked and sheared off the wand. I bought two of them and within three months, the most frequently used broke and a month later the second one did. This is a good idea, but it needs to be sturdier.

    Does the job, but....
By Jen the Northeast GardenerVerified Purchaser from CT on 7/9/2008
    Pros:
    Comfortable Grip, Precise Spout
    Cons:
    Difficult to Use
    Best Uses:
    Household Plants, Outdoor Garden
    Describe Yourself:
    Master Gardener
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Topsy-Turvy Waterer:

This definitely does the job when it comes to watering high hanging pots, but: it's unwieldy when the bottle is full, and it doesn't stand up by itself when you're done with it. For example, if you only use 1/2 the bottle of water, it's difficult to prop the bottle up while waiting for the next watering. So, you need to use up the bottle every time you water, and then you need to refill it every time you want to use it. Too much trouble.

I am handicapped and use a walker. Before I found this, I was unable to water a plant hanging from my ceiling. I love it and so does my now healthy plant.
