Visiting butterflies and dragonflies will appreciate finding a refreshing drink of rainwater inside these glass flowers. During the day, tiny luminescent crystals embedded in the glass absorb sunlight and then make the flowers glow for several hours after dark.     Mix with real flowers to add a beautiful accent to any flower garden while allowing the butterflies a place to drink as they flutter about. They are beautifully made however, one of mine was not made at the correct angle therefore it will not hold the rain water unless I tilt it at an angel. Also squirrels or any large animal can knock them over and cause them to break. Over all, they are beautiful and worth it.

    This product does not glow as it says. It also does not hold enough fluid for anything to drink out of. It also becomes very hot after sitting in the sun. I was very disapointed in this product and would only recommend it for a decoration.

    These are nice to look at - but a bit smaller than I thought. I should have returned the ones I got as the angle of the flutes prevents any nector from staying in if inserted in the ground as recommended. Therefore, I had to greatly angle them to hold any fluid at all which reduces the looks. Also be aware the nector will evaporates very quickly so you will need to fill them everyday if used to hold nector.

    I've noticed a lot of complaints about the fact it doesn't "glow in the dark." It is a pretty addition to the garden, nonetheless. And the reason I bought it was for the butterflies. I have layered a couple pieces of sponge in the bottom and have added some of the Butterfly Nectar, and it is already attracting various butterflies. The beauty of the butterflies makes up for the lack of glowing!!!

    its very beautiful, but it does not glow. I tried the flash light and lock yourself in a dark closet, no glow. it does hold water, its to early in this part of the world for humming birds and butterflys so I can't say if it attracts them or not. I'm also not to sure about the holder, that happens to be rather flimsy wire rod.

    I bought the purple/blue ones and found that they have very little luminescence in the dark, even after being out in the sun all day. I also expected the stakes to be a bit higher, and haven't seen any critters alighting on the edge to take a drink.

    They are pretty, though, and I especially like the copper twined around the stems.

    I have this glass flower staked in the lawn among my annuals and perennials. Can't say I've seen butterflies or dragonflies drink from this, or even seen the moonglow at night, but it is a nice decorative piece for the garden. Since the flower is glass, be mindful that it is also fragile in unprotected areas.

    Very pretty, and adds a subtle touch to the garden. I'm not one for extra frills or anything that looks "plastic-y" in my garden, but this attracted me because it was different, and offered something that I didn't have...water for the butterfiles and dragonflies. I havent' SEEN any visitors, but maybe they come when my back is turned!
