Attractive and great idea but needs to be placed in a cool location. Water heats up inside terra cotta Water Station. Don't know how it will fare when the weather really heats up here in Georgia but I plan to keep it in the shade.

I love that this is made from a natural material and is modeled after a very old design. The only improvement/suggestion would be that their be a removable lid to make filling the waterer easier.

    Comments about Wildlife Water Station:

We situated our watering station so that we can watch from inside the house. The wildlife appear to really enjoy it too because it needs to be refilled a couple of times a week. Looks like we need more than one! The terra cotta is a nice simple look that works well in the landscape.

    Comments about Wildlife Water Station:

We had hoped to use this for our cats to drink from, and it worked for a few days. Then the water turned slimy, so we gave up. One of the waterer's holes was blocked, and I had to gently use a small screwdriver to open it. Filling these things takes forever! Cleaning them, even with a hummingbird feeder brush, would be difficult since you can't see what's still dirty inside. I may try using a file to widen the holes; hope they won't crack if I do that.

    Comments about Wildlife Water Station:

When I first saw this I really wanted one so I added it to my Xmas list and my husband bought it. I have to say that the small size really surprised us both. The box it came in was huge so I thought great this is going to be pretty big and I already had the spot picked out for it. but it was small it looks big in the picture I guess I should have looked at the size a lot closer especially for the price. I don't know how many critters will use it since it has to be protected from the cold I guess i will find out in the spring!

    Comments about Wildlife Water Station:

Thought this was an interesting item for the garden. I have always used a clay saucer to provide water for the chipmunks, but this always involved a lot of cleaning just like a bird bath.
This product keeps the water cool and clean and holds more water than a saucer. The chipmunks visit it regularly.
