Scampering squirrels can be fun to watch, but they're a nuisance when they raid bird feeders. Lure them away with their own feeding station sculpted in the shape of a corn stalk. Holds 4 ears of dried corn on the cob.

The concept is cute and looked great before the squirrels were onto it. The "leaves" can't hold the weight of squirrels and they break off right away.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
This is a squirrel feeder but we put oranges on it and the orioles love it. Well worth the money for that.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Easy to put together. Squirrels love it.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I returned this product because the welding of a piece holding the spike/leaf to the pole broke as I was assembling it. I was disappointed in the strength and quality of the materials.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
It is a little unstabel. I placed it in a bush so the little animals can climb up.

I bought this item for myself and was looking forward to seeing the squirrels on it. It was a disapointment to have one of the leaves break off on set-up.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I loved the look when we put it together and placed it in the yard. Saw squirrels enjoying the corn the next morning and by evening two of the leaves had broken off. I couldn't be more disappointed in both this product and Gardeners Supply for carrying something that they know is going to fall apart.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Very cute item at a great price. Fun way to feed squirrels.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I really like the look of this squirrel feeder. However, it is not nearly durable enough for actual use. My husband gave it to me for Christmas, and we put it out in early January. By late February one of the leaves and spikes had broken off. By mid-March a second leaf/spike broke off. So now we have a half a feeder which is not nearly as attractive. Unless we have exceptionally heavy squirrels, I think this corn stalk is just not heavy duty enough.

Was pleased with the look and ease of putting it together ~ looking forward to catching the squirrels in the act of 'stealing' tidbits (usually takes a week or so for them to discover something new in my yard).
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Love this cute little addition to my yard, the squirrels seem real happy with it too. I find myself replacing corn husks daily.

Like the birdfeeders I got in the same order, had I known this and everything else I ordered was made in china, I seriously would have reconsidered my entire order. I know we are a nation of import/export, but in this day and age when our economy is suffering, why would most items come from china?

Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Really neat design but so far it has only been ornamental at my house. My squirrels will/have not used it. The original corn I put on it are still there! They prefer to eat the corn scattered ont he ground for the doves. The piece is a neat design and still a neat piece in a garden or flower bed!

Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I enjoy watching the squirrels scamper up the corn stalk...and the deer have enjoyed the corn that falls to the ground. I don't think this will last more than one season though. Maybe i just have heavy squirrels!
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
The leaves are slippery so when I noticed some birds trying to land on them, I solved the problem by wrapping green florist wire around the leaves - it gives the animals a better foothold.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
This is awesome~ It is so much fun watching the Squirrels climb this and eat~
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
It was a big hit with the family - everyone had fun setting it up and watching the squirrels enjoy it!

Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I prefer this over the metal basket corn holders. The squirrels can remove the corn and carry it off. With this corn holder they find a comfortable perch and eat away. It is always fun to watch how creative or innovative the squirrels can be, and even with this set up, they display different approaches to getting at the corn. Also, in bad weather and heavy snow, it is easy to replace the used cobs.

It is the first article that has been effective in keeping the squirrels off the bird feeders. It is fun to watch them eat each ear of corn, then climb higher for the next one.

We put it out of my 93 year old fathers window so he could watch the squirrels or deer. So far, nobody has touched it.

I bought this for my home bound father. He really enjoys watching the squirrels figure out how to get the corn off of the stalk. It has given him many hours of enjoyment. I get reports every week on how much he enjoys this gift.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
The squirrels enjoy the corn feeder, but they still raid the bird feeders even though they have baffles under them. They just think they have to have it all.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
It was a gift for someone who likes squirrels and doesn't want to feed them bird food.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
This was a gift for my sister who lives in the New York suburbs. She has numerous bird feeders and the squirrels are always competing with the birds despite squirrel food being specifically put out for them in a slightly different spot. She wanted an attractive way to feed the squirrels and one which might interest them. She likes the way it looks in her garden and the squirrels like it, too.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Hopefully it will keep the squirrels busy and leave the bird feeder alone.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Thought this was really really cute! Put it up & the squirrels don't go near it, but deer managed to get at the ears. They also managed to bend the "leaves". We'll wait till summer to rate.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
The only draw back is the constant refilling. Once it is discovered the word gets out in the Squirrel community. I bought 2.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
I like it because it is attrictive, don't have to put corn out as often, cheap, and I live my squirrls.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
This looks awesome in the yard - a fall decoration and and also helps distract the squirrels from the bird feeders. I bought one for myself and one for my mother. She watched squirrels make thier way up to the top. The leaves bend - which is great for arrangement but don't know if they could be damaged by squirrels sitting on them - but not so far...
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
THE SQUIRRELS HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN EATING THE CORN FROM IT. WE THINK THE RACCOONS OR DEAR HAVE BEEN EATING AT NIGHT
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Works well for feeding
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
Right away when I set it up one of the leaves about came off. They do not seem very sturdy however I have seen a squirrel perching on one of the others while he chewed on the corn. Other than that it is serving my purpose and looks cute standing in the garden. I would recommend this with the caveat that it is flimsy.
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
The design is attractive and it was easy to set up. So far there has not been much squirrel activity. It may take colder weather to see them using it.
I was concerned that it seems lightweight and may not stand up to squirrel use. The prongs that set it in the ground are also short so it feels unstable. It would do better with longer prongs so that it sets in the ground more deeply.
The next question about whether I would recommend it to a friend should also include a choice saying "maybe depending on how it holds up."
Comments about Corn Feeding Station:
My squirrel tribe hasn't paid any attention to this, yet. I'm hoping they will notice the corn ears when they really get hungry as the weather gets colder.
