As evening falls, this man-in-the-moon feeder turns on his glow-in-the-dark charm. When hung in a sunny spot, the glow usually lasts 2 to 3 hours each evening. Made of poly resin with a drainage hole to keep seed dry. Day or night, he's sure to bring a smile!

    I was hoping that the item would illuminate at night. It just di not do it. However I like the look of it in my garden so I kept it. If someone was looking for it to be bright at night, I would not recomend it.

    Very pretty, but was slightly disappointed that after hanging for only a week the hook came out and was unable to reuse the same hook. Put in a heavier duty hook and hung it back up and no problems since.

    I'm disappointed in the glow in the dark feature.
    It seems when it's in the garage it glows but outside in the garden it doesn't glow that well.

    It broke after just a few months and I threw it away because there was no way to fix it. Until then I like it. The hanging chain pulled out of the main part and left a large hole.

    I was very disappointed in this item. After only a few months, it started to fade from the sun. I had to keep turning it from one side to the other to even it out. The chain rusted and the rust went to the feeder. I ended up putting it in the garage and not using it anymore. It never glowed just faded.

    During a terrible ice storm, that took days and days to thaw, everything was changed. It was very comforting to look out and see the moon still shining through it's coating of ice! I got a great photo of it!

    It looks really cool in our garden but as the instructions say it needs that late sun if you expect it to glow after dark. If it's at all shaded before nighttime you'll be disappointed. We had to move ours away from the house to get the full effect. But who else in your neighborhood will have a moon birdfeeder??

    Even though the hanger rusts and may stain the face of the moon, it makes it look antique. When first purchased, it is bright banana yellow..VERY Bright.. but fades beautifully outside. Even though it doesn't glow in the dark when outside, it is still different. I bought 4 of them, for myself and friends. Everyone loved them and they purchased more for their friends.

    This is a beautiful piece hanging in my garden (I collect all kinds of "moons"). Unfortunately, it has never glowed as advertised. I still enjoy seeing it during the daytime because it's a nice, solid man-in-the-moon, but I was very disappointed that it has never glowed in the evening. It gets sunlight all day long so it's not a matter of not getting enough light to create its glow.
