    I put the seed balls in the tree behind our home and within 5 minutes the squirrels gnawed through the string and wanted to take it into the woods. I finally went out and made a hole in it and placed in on the top of the bar that holds my birdfeeders. I was disappointed.

    I purchased these birdseed globes for "stocking-stuffer" gifts at Christmas. My family is big on simple pleasures, like peace and quiet and feeding and watching the birds. Everyone loved the globes and I would purchase again. The only problem was that the squirrels made off with a couple of them!
