I cut grapes in half and was surprised to see both robins and cardinals swoop by and pick them up. At other times, I also put other fruit on it for the butterflies. It looks attractive hanging on a shephard's hook.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Easy to set up and replenish. The birds started feeding within 2 days.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Invites summer, nectar loving birds, to the yard for the added pleasure of living with nature.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I thought it would be a real "blast" for the birds, they have zero interest and the squirrels still prefer the birds food.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Within days it attracted Baltimore Orioles, Rosey Breasted Grossbeaks and Woodpeckers. I love it. [...]. It appears to be extreemly durable and easy to clean.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Fun and attractive feeder for a variety of fruits.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I like the design of this product, but the looped wire used for hanging is poorly made. The wire is soldered to itself to make loops at both ends and does not hold well. I bought 2 of these and found I had to repair both (one out of the box and the other when I first set it up). Ended up buying my own repair parts to rectify the situation.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Tried using it once. Need to unassemble every time you use it to add the fruits. Birds did not even approach it. We have a lot of American Robins in our front yard, but not one even bothered to look at this fruit feeder. It was a waste of my time and money. [...]

I hung this feeder out with other feeders and it did not attract any birds. It sat there while the fruit (I even tried bread) just rotted. I wanted to attract new varieties, but not even my regular crowd, which is vast, was interested. It looked nice before the fruit went bad though.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I love putting left over fruit on the feeder to attract both humingbirds and butteflies
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
It is so easy to put together, to clean and refill. The first day I put oranges out on the fruit feeder the birds were using it.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Put the feeder out with apples. Birds haven't touched it. I will experiment with different fruit until I can attract some birds. I'm looking forward to it.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
The birds love it and it's nice to have more than one feeding option.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Looked a bit better in the picture (perhaps the alternating red/yellow colors of the fruit and the feeder). Rather ordinary when you actually see it.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
This product is awkward to take apart to put fruit on. There are other products on the market that are easier to use..
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I had not seen another simple fruit feeder like this before. The sale price made it even more desireable.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Neat that you can hang three different fruits, but a pain to take it completely apart to "spear" the fruit at each level as you reassemble.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I think I will have much better luck in the spring. I tried it for a few days but didn't get anything - I am going to put it in a different place in the spring/summer as I get a lot of grosbeaks and orioles - not as many cardinals. I am confident it will be a good addition to my feeder area.
Comments about Fruit Feeder:
So far all this has been is a magnet for wasps and hornets. We have seen no birds try the fruit. Neighbors have orioles in their yards so we know they are around the area.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
The feeder attracts larger animals (Squirrels, chipmunks) as well as birds and as a result, it broke within a week from squirrel activity.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
Bought this item a few months ago -- used with oranges and apples -- bunch grapes fall off too easily. Never saw a bird use it -- would rather eat on ground instead -- ie: mockingbirds, cardinals, bluejays. Description was rather vague -- I thought the red disks had a flat surface and could be flipped over for a "bowl" use. Has flat surface on top and bottom, though. Mfg should change to have bowl use on opposite sides of red disks to put grapes, seed, jelly, etc. as alternative feeding source. As is, I would not purchase this item again.

Comments about Fruit Feeder:
I noticed that the birds have a hard time getting to the fruit on the middle tier but other than that, the oriols have been lured back into my yard! Don't leave the fruit on too many days in a row or it bakes on with the sun and is difficult to clean.
