If I can think of something that won't be harmed by getting wet, I can still do something with this feeder. Otherwise, it's a total loss. The seed gets wet, cakes so the birds can't get to it, and the seed rots. WORST FEEDER EVER.

Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
This bird feeder was even more attractive than the picture in catalog. All you do is fill it and hang it! Simple and it looks so good hanging in my back yard - hoping to attract more finches there.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
I am new to birdfeeding so I wanted to find an inexpensive birdfeeder before committing. This birdfeeder is horrible. Once it rained, the food became soggy and hard because the drainage holes barely work. The seed cannot flow thru the holes because the holes are too small. And when I went to refill the feeder, there were maggots because of the hard birdseed that accumulated on the bottom. I bought this on sale and still want to return it.

Well-made and very attractive.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
I have spent a lot more throughout the years, but this is by far the nicest, and most attractive, bird feeder I have. It is larger than some I have, but it empties faster than the others. The birds seems to really be taken with it!

We added this feeder to our gardens and are so happy!
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
The feeder is very pretty but it is now sitting on the lawn because the squirrels are able to knock the top off and the chain comes out.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
We are in a new subdivision where there were few birds due to the small trees and bushes. The Vine Leaf Birdfeeder was a welcome attraction for bringing new birds into the area. It is easy and fast to fill. It is a wonderful attraction in our garden.

Bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my grandmother, and she has absolutely loved it. It's very easy to fill, and looks very nice hanging outside of her family room window.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
this is a lovely feeder, but is not attracting the yellow finches. Also, we have had alot of rain, and the drainage holes are not big enough and the base fills with water and the seed rots.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
Sufficient capacity so doesn't require daily refilling during heavy use.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
Really attractive hanging in the yard. Able to use any kind of seed depending on the birds you want to attract.

Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
Food only exits the feeder at the bottom. Dampness makes the food cake causing the food to clog the two feeding holes.

Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
This feeder would get a perfect 5 if it had drainage holes in the bottom. Bringing it in when it rains is kind of a pain. But it's pretty, easy to fill and clean, the birds love it and so forth. Like it a lot!

I hung this in an eastern redbud tree and it looks stunning with the tree in bloom. I purchased one as a gift, as was so impressed, I had to have one for myself.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
I love that all kinds of birds are constantly using this feeder; they actually seem to take turns! So far no squirrels have figured out how to get to it. It looks like a beautiful yard decoration while it feeds the feathered beauties.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
seems well made, could use bird holes in the middle of unit, half way up for more birds to use
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
An attractive bird feeder the birds love.
Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
The bird feeder is a beautiful copper finish and is very sturdy. The seed tube is plastic and I would have liked glass instead, since the Florida sun is very hard on plastic.

Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
I was able to set up the feeder the day I got it in the mail. It has a better filling system than others have. I have found that the ones where the lid needs screwed on or held down with a screw tend to fail more often than those with a lid that just sits atop the feeder. Also the design is pleasing to the eye. Best of all the birds seem to appreciate it.

Comments about Vine Leaf Birdfeeder:
This Bird Feeder is strong and even makes the larger birds work hard to get the seed. No plastic is what sold me on it because in Arizona the high heat will break down any plastic after a short time.

This birdfeeder looks great in the garden. It has a beautiful copper color and nice detailed leaves. I like that it holds a lot of seed, so I don't have to keep filling it all the time. The birds are loving this birdfeeder.
