I bought two of these to add to my yard. They are attractive and functional. The back door is great for cleaning out the house when birds are done nesting.

Cute but the bottom came out after squirrels knocked it off its hanging hook. I got it back together and it looks cute, but I have not seen any thing using it for a nesting place.

The yellow finch were the first to check it out. It does swing in the wind and some birds don't like that. Hung in a tree next to deck so we could see the birds going in and out.

    Comments about Rustic Birdhouse:

This birdhouse is adorable and did attract wrens. However, it arrived missing a small nail that facilitates the closure of the back door. I was able to rig the door to close; but, I don't anticipate getting more than one season out of this birdhouse. I was disappoited.

    Comments about Rustic Birdhouse:

I have the birdhouse hanging in the tree but the birds seem to ignore it. Not one of them has even looked into it. I think it looks rustic, but not the birds. I keep it hanging, but I won't buy it again.

    Comments about Rustic Birdhouse:

Looks like quality construction. Durability can not be evaluated in just a few weeks since the purchase. One possible exception to good quality is the loop of rope that is used to hang it. This seems like the same as others I have used that did not last a year. Fortunately, this is an easy problem to remedy.
