It is so easy to put the suet balls in the Suet Spirals. Attracts lots of birds, and I don't see the squirrels at the spirals.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
It's been a cold winter and the birds need the suet, they gobble it up!

THE BIRDS CHECK THEM OUT ONCE IN AWHILE
THE WOODPECKERS SURELY ARE SUET EATERS and never frequent the seed feeders because there are seeds in the suet

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
We loaded these suet balls into our suet ball feeder (also from Gardener's Supply) and there they sit, now three weeks later, untouched. The birds haven't gone near them . . . then again, neither have the squirrels. So far, this has been a complete waste of money and I'm disgusted that we got two packages.

I gave this product to my daughter along with the holder to hang in her trees. I had purchased this for my Mom several years ago and she said it was so easy to use and she loved to feed the birds in the winter. Any product I have purchased from you has been great.

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I purchased one of the holders for these suet balls quite a few years ago. While they are a little messy to use, they coat my hands with the suet which is better than hand cream!!!The only problem I ever run into is when you run out of them. I try to get enough to get me through from fall to fall. I haven't ever seen them anywhere else. The birds love them which makes me very happy as watching the many varieties of birds in my kitchen window is a treat.

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I ordered these when i was out of the bricks and because i liked the looks of the wreath. Both turned out to be attractive and very easy to set up. They attracted woodpeckers and flickers and the squirrels do not care for them AT ALL, however, i just found out today the bluejays do like them.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
When I initially put these out, the flickers just would not come. But when they finally DID find them, they disappeared pretty quick. Now I can't keep them in stock! Only problem I've had is the local raccoons like them, too. They've pulled down my feeder posts a couple of times, but they spring right back into shape...
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I use them in my suet ball dispenser that holds 5 at a time. At the end of winter and in the early spring the suet balls help keep the birds alive.
I use them all year round.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I purchased these for a first time use in my new suet wreath. The birds love them but I will be using fruit or suet from the hardware store from now on as these are expensive. These balls do not seem to be of any higher quality as the blocks that I purchase from a hardware store for my rectangular suet feeder. I would buy them all the time if the the price was a few dollars cheaper[...]
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Easy to put in tube feeder which keeps larger birds away and the roof keeps suet dry.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I had suet cakes out all winter. I couldn't wait to get these suet balls in, they are neater and more attractive, so I opened them and put them out as soon as they came in. But my flickers stopped eating as soon as I changed. A cake would last about a day; three balls have lasted weeks. I've tried relocating, cleaning, etc. Just not getting the response. The little birds eat them, but the bigger flickers are good and mad at me.
I can't recommend them because the birds aren't eating them, but they ARE a lot neater to work with, store well, and they look really cool in the holders.

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
These suet balls fit wonderfully in both the spiral suet and fruit holders and the suet/fruit holder wreath! Took a few days for the birds to figure out the new spiral containers but once they did, it was really neat to watch the large birds sit on the top of the spiral holder and dig in from the top and the smaller birds hang on to the sides and bottom. Once they figured out the holders, these balls were consumed VERY quickly. I did notice it seemed to be easier for them when 3 balls were placed in the spiral holder instead of 2.

The birds visit often enjoying their treat!

Used in the wreath that I purchased from you and the acorn wrought iron bird feeders. The birds love them!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Very easy to use - the birds can eat as soon as I put these out.

The acorns that the suet balls go in are perfect for small area's or trees.

fits perfectly in spiral suet holders
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
The energy balls are great. The birds love them; we have one bird who hangs upside down to get to the balls. Woodpeckers seem to particularly like them.

My mother loved it
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Easy to use,and the woodpeckers (and other birds) love it!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for an avid bird watcher and feeder. They are the right size for the feeder I also purchased and stayed together completely during the shipment process.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Had to buy the spiral suet ball holders, but if you are ingenious enough, you could come up with another way to hang them; like, putting string through the ball and hanging in a tree or from a shephards hook.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
This is a simple way to make sure that the birds get what they need. I keep them in the automatic feeder year-round for a family of woodpeckers that live nearby. It's very rewarding to see the little ones learn to eat it.

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I bought the wreath and the suet balls. They look very nice but nothing will touch the suet! No birds nor squirrels have shown ANY interest. Really strange. I wondered if the suet balls had gone rancid but they smell OK. My birds just don't like them.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I use the suet balls with the wreath I ordered from Gardner's Supply. I was unsure if the birds would take to them, but they love it! I have attracted different species of birds and am enjoying watching them!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Fill the feeder once, and forget it for days.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Usually, I use these after Christmas., by wrapping them in red mesh and hanging from my Christmas tree outdoors. The birds love them! Unfortunately, so do the squirrels, but that's always a problem.

The birds, woodpeckers, squirrels, and raccoons all love these. Unfortunately the furry critters stole the wreath that the suet balls go on and left it on the ice in the middle of the Tippecanoe River. Luckily, my husband's casting skills got it back. It was a new form of ice fishing!

Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I bought the feeder that uses these suet balls for my elderly father a couple of years ago and he loves it. It is easy for him to fill and he can easily see when the feeder is empty. The suet balls don't make a mess or spoil and the birds seem to love them!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
Birds have not touched these suet balls even though they have devoured suet balls from another company (Duncraft). I will not order these suet balls again from Gardeners Supply. Very dissapointing indeed!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I found these rather expensive but they look good in the bird wreath. Because they are made with peanuts, I sprinkled them with capsicum powder to keep off the squirrels. When they're gone I will just buy regular (cheaper) suet and cut in pieces.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
The birds love it!

MY BIRDS KNOW WHERE TO COME FOR THEIR MEALS. I HAVE TO STAY CONSISTENT OR THEY WILL MOVE ON AND I REALLY LIKE THE CROWD I HAVE RIGHT NOW!
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
The bird wreath is out on our deck and we love watching the birds landing on it and eating the suet balls. It's fun as well as being good for the birds.

Looks nice on the window
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
If you like to watch wood peckers, nuthatches, chickadees and a variety of other birds - the suet balls and feeder are a great addition to your yard. I have been using the feeder and suet balls for a couple of years and it is pleasure to watch the birds flock in to feed. I never realized the size and numbers of wood peckers we have in our area until I put out this feeder.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
I bought the suet balls for use with the wreath sold by Gardener's.But they also work well in cylinder feeders.
Comments about Suet Balls, Set of 10:
These are the very BEST suet products I have ever used. With the standard soft square types you see everywhere, it only takes a small flock of birds to empty the feeder with lots of waste on the ground. These are more solid and can feed my feathered friends for several days with no waste.
It's nice to have it self loading for those rainy or snowy days when you dont want to trudge down to the feeder.
