    Bought two sets of 3 each. Things that aren't so great about it: one of 6 was extremely hard to fill with water, two of six still have the same water from original filling 6 months ago, and none of 6 even come close to glowing in the dark.

    These mushrooms will hold a lot of water for the plants and they do have a nice glow after dark. They are made of glass and have endured my clumsiness (thus the 5 star rating). They were offered at a fantastic price on sale and have made a very nice 'added' feature to our garden. They are additionally beneficial for the plants and save on watering detail.

    This was a great addition to my pond. I stuck the stems in a piece of round foam with silk flowers and floated it in my pond. I received many great comments about it! It was great at night with the light reflecting off the mushrooms! Loved the mushroom shape!

    I have yet to see these mushrooms glow. They're in the sun most of the day, but at night they don't glow. They're most useful for holding water for drought sensitive plants, however. They're also bigger than I thought they'd be.

    These are much larger than I thought they would be. I thought they were house-plant size. I was wrong. So they are out in my garden. They make very lovely accents. But if you want to see them glow in the dark, you had better live somewhere with no streetlights, etc. I've never been able to see any kind of glow at night, but there is quite a bit of ambient light in my neighborhood at night. They are so pretty I don't really care about the lack of glow, and I'm really only in the garden during the day most of the time anyway. I bought a second set to give as a gift. I have to admit, I've never used them as a watering device. So I can't sey if they really work. I'm happy just looking at them.

    Glass mushrooms are very pretty all day and into twilight. The phorphorescence is very subtle and appears just at dusk, but not into the night. Loosen your soil very well before inserting. Pets can push against them and break the stems, so bury them more deeply if you have concerns. I would not recommend these to those with small children.

    The mushrooms are beautiful but they really only glow if you expose them to bright light and then immediately go into a dark location. The setting sun does not work like that. By the time the sun has set completely the mushroom glow is all pooped out.

    I use this glowing mushrooms as a decorative part in my garden. I expected to at least see some glow as evening comes, but do not see a single speck. It sounds great to at least help water some plants, but it dries up pretty fast and I have to refill them almost everyday. I do like the design tho, but hope that it does what it's supposed to do as described.

    The concept is great, practical but product execution is so-so. I didn't realize just how delicate the glass would be and had at least 2 break while trying to insert them in my garden beds, which were amended with good soil (not compacted). Luckily I don't have children to worry about the cut glasss edges left behind. Thicker glass would help this a bit. And the phosphorescent glow was less than expected. It was pretty faint. So overall I probably wouldn't order more again. Would recommend to others with reservations. Maybe just need to add a caveat or 2 to the description about usage like, 'not suited for clay or compact soils'.

    I fill up the mushrooms with water and stick them in to the plant containers. They will release the water when the plant needs it. They are made of glass and you do have to be carefull not to place them where they could be broken.

    I use these for the herb garden on my patio and it saves me when I go out of town. Little tough to fill and they don't glow quite as well as I'd hoped, but they look great and get the job done.
