    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I purchased the Starlight Bouquet for our backyard. We live in a desert climate and after I installed the pose-able bouquets, the heat caused the star bouquet pose-able wiring to soften and wilt. Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I liked the idea of these. I put them on a timer and they were a pretty addition to a front garden. Unfortunately, the squirrels thought so too. They chewed through the lines. The first time it happened I thought maybe I had hit it with the lawnmower and it wasn't too difficult to repair the lines, but after it happened several times -- with several repairs -- it became evident that it was a losing battle and not worth the fight.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

My husband & I just love these all-purose & fun garden lights. I live in Monterey, CA so weather is not really a problem. The one dissappointing thing was the first day the sun warmed them up, the "stems" drooped and are now difficult to position, but they still look great at night. It would also be nice if you could daisy chain the strands so you don't have so many cords running. Even with these issues we still want to get a few more strands.

I purchased this item for my wife, she likes to use various items to decorate her many gardens and vignettes. At first she was skeptical and was reluctant to use this in one of her flower gardens, eventually she put it to use. She did quite a good job placing it and entwining it between all of the plants (it is a thick garden of flowers). Later, at dusk we turned it on and it was a beautiful addition, and really looked good.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

Easy to set up, but looks best in the midst of the flowers. The stars/wires DON'T stand straight up, as I remember the picture, which is why they're best amid the foliage. Otherwise, as stand-alone, they look like droopy starlights on a stick.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I put 2 sets of these lights in the garden at the front of my house.
2 hours later, the stems had all drooped. Never got them to look like the picture.
I used plastic ties and plant stakes to hold them up, Gardeners offered to replace them I am going to keep them because they are really pretty.
I did not read the negative reviews before I purchased them, will do so in the future. I was disturbed to find the number of complaints about the drooping.
I WOULD RECOMMEND WITH EXPLANATION OF DROOPING PROBLEM.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

These lights do not stay upright once you put them in the ground. They seem to wilt and hang down around the pole. I was so disappointed. The picture looked great but the product was horrible. Not worth the money or the time. Had to send them back. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I like the look, but I have been very selective about when I put these out due to all the negative reviews I have read. It is not very easy to set up, lots of cords, and pretty anoying to need to make sure the plug is under cover, especially since it is for outdoor use! I love the concept, but this product has a lot of room for improvement!

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I bought the star lights because I had purchased two sets from Gardener's Supply a few years ago and wanted to add to them. I was surprised to find these did not match the older version in that these are not indoor/outdoor rated like the previous ones. Granted, I did not really catch the "use with adaptor" phrase in this version of the product description, but I was very disappointed to find these lights are recommended for dry locations only. Especially when the picture shows them being used outside with the line "no matter what the weather...". My intent had been to set them up for the summer -- they do look lovely at night in the garden off the deck. Now, I have to attach the adaptors each time I use them and remember to bring them in at the end of the evening, the net result being that I do not use them as often.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

This was so cute when I got it but I was concerned before I put it outside as the wiring was so delicate. I was very careful to place it where nothing would stress the wires but it still broke. In addition, the very first day the stars dropped and would not stand up. It was not even hot outside yet. When the hot weather came, the tubes holding the stars bent over. I had ordered two sets. Both were placed in relatively shaded areas of my yard but the stars and the tubes all bent over and I could not get them to stand up again. The wire on one set broke within a month and the second set's wire popped recently. This is a very cute design but it was very poorly executed.

As beautiful as the lights are, they do not stand up as shown in the picutre but rather flop over, and if looked at closely looked like a wilted bouquet rather than a fresh cut group of flowers. That being said they are still beautiful at night and I put them in the garden at Xmas and here it is July and they are still there! Also when trying to make them stand strait it was very easy to snap off the cord leading to the flower, giving one of my flower bouquets only five flowers!

    Attracted alot of attention
By LindaVerified Purchaser from Martinsburg, WV on 7/10/2008
    Pros:
    Attractive Design, Weather Resistant
    Cons:
Support post broke, Wiring needs work
    Best Uses:
    Front Yard
    Describe Yourself:
    Practical
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

Loved that there was plenty of wire so I was not restricted to a small area. All my neighbors wanted to know where I got them. Plastic post and stakes need to be improved as they broke pushing them into ground. The star burst pulled out of the post and damaged the wiring.

    Disappointed
By JeanVerified Purchaser from Minneapolis on 7/10/2008
    Pros:
Easy to Secure, Visible at a Distance
    Cons:
    Bends/Blows Away
    Best Uses:
    Back Yard, Front Yard, Garden
    Describe Yourself:
    Practical
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

Very easy to "install". As soon as they see a hot, sunny day, they just "wilt" and all droop down into a cluster. I'm disappointed. Plan to tape some wire to each stem so they will maintain their position. Then I'll be pleased; until then, disappointed.

    Cute but not functional
By KellyVerified Purchaser from Vacaville, CA on 7/9/2008
    Pros:
    Attractive Design
    Cons:
Spokes "melted" in heat, Supports bent in heat, Unsuitable elect connect
    Best Uses:
    Garden, Indoors potted plant
    Describe Yourself:

    Bottom Line:

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I had high hopes because I liked the design, but the plug doesn't work well in outside unit: covers both outlets and can't be put on an extension outlet. So, didn't bother lighting, but thought cute peaking above flowers, until temps rose and the "star" supports sagged and the stars drooped below the plants & couldn't be raised. I brought them in the house, gathered them in a bouquet, and stuck them in w/a potted plant and use it as ambiance lighting.

    Attractive Design
    Cons:
    Bends/Blows Away, Fades in Sunlight
    Best Uses:
    Garden
    Describe Yourself:
    Practical

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

These lights were my first order from Gardener's Supply. I was excited to use the lights as a border for our front flower bed. Unfortunately, the star lights rapidly drooped over and the base distorted. I was nervous about plugging the adapter into an outside outlet where moisture could collect. After a few uses, I put them in the garage. Regrettably, it was a waste of $40+ dollars.

This product would be better with solar capability. It has a large power supply that made it difficult to set up outdoors.

    Cons:

I thought the stars would make a great Christmas outdoor decoration along the walk way to my front door. The wires are not strong enough to keep the stars from drooping. They all sagged and were a complete disappointment.

    Starry NIght!
By SophiaVerified Purchaser from Columbus, Ohio on 7/8/2008
    Pros:
    Attractive Design, Easy to Secure
    Cons:
    Bends/Blows Away
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

I bought this as a Christmas decoration; I have not taken it down yet. . . It gives a gentle light and is an attractive decoration.

The stakes have bent a little (?from the heat and sunlight?) but they still work and unless you look closely I don't think people notice that they're bent.

    Comments about Starlight Bouquet:

These are very cute, fun at night, my grandkids love them. BUT, the plastic rods melted and bent within a few weeks of installation. I realize that Tucson is a hot city, but these were installed in the winter/spring months. The support tube needs to be made of a more heat resistant plastic.
