I put the spire in my flower garden and can see it from my back door everyday now. The blue colors are more brilliant than one could tell from the picture in the catalog. An excellent addition!

i thought this was so much taller than it was! plus i thought for the price, it must have a solar panel that stores sunlight, so it will glow in the dark - no! it's just glow in the dark paint inside the glass ball. not worth the money! if i'd known this before i opened the package, i would have sent it back right away. very disappointing!

I happen to love blue glass and copper in the garden but for those who dont, it would not work. It is very pretty in my garden especially in early spring before much color.

I live in South Florida so we get lots of sun during the day and was disappointed that there really isn't any kind of a glow with this. But on the plus side the blue glass is beautiful and when the sun shines through the glass it is very beautiful so decided to keep it. The cooper is an added plus makes the blue glass color pop. So if you think you want something that will shed some sort of lite/glow not for you. But if you want a beautiful garden accent this will work.

It may look like a weather vane-but.....

I purchased this garden spire as a holiday gift. I was pleased with its beautiful appearance and the copper/bronze color of the base. The glass orbs are beautiful and will provide a lot of color by day. It appeared very well made and easy to set up in the garden. Since it was a gift, and still winter here, it has not yet been placed outside in the garden by the recipient. Therefore, I cannot comment on its durabilty or the intesity with which the orbs glow at night. But, I was pleased to present it as a gift and know it will make a beautiful daytime addition to the garden - if the orbs glow in the evening, that will only be an added benefit!
