I hear that they fade in the sunlight. I took some advice from another shopper and used them indoors. I bought a colorful ceramic planter for each chicken and put some sand at the bottom of it. I then covered it with styrofoam and then stuck a chicken in the styofoam, and added spanish moss so it would not show, putting a few tiny plasic yellow flowers in the moss. It made lovely gift for a chicken collector. I did this with Dot and Roger, and will do the rest later.
