I wanted a fountain as a focal point in a garden that is in process. I didn't want the trouble of running electrical so the solar panel works well. It was super easy to set up and looks as though it is made from stone instead of the durable, lightweight material. I put a few ferns around the base, filled it with water and instant "zen".

I obtained my fountain this past spring and loved it. However, I now find that gentle cleaning with a soft cloth is starting to wear off the finish leaving white fiberglass exposed. I assure you it has had only normal wear and loving care.

The pump worked for only two days and then failed. I was careful to keep it fully immersed in water. Seems to be a flawed design in the motor. Fountain now functions as a very attractive - - but expensive - - bird bath. Recommend dropping item from your catalog.

We love the look and the sound of the dripping water but we're having to clean the pump and change water twice a week -- and it's in a large open yard with no trees but still clogs. The last time we cleaned, it just stopped. Don't know if it's the cord, pump or panel and we've only had it 6 weeks! It does work when it looks cloudy but maybe sun rays are getting through. Pretty weak bubbler. No information came with it on how to order replacement parts.

I am so happy with this fountain. Our house is totally off the grid and run by solar power. It was great to find a fountain that would work for me. I wanted something that made a statement near my garden. I can hear the gurgling from my porch and while I garden its a great sound. We live in the far western end of the eastern time zone in the U.P. of michigan so it runs till about 9:30 p.m.

My husband was sceptical but is impressed with the pump. Highly recommended.

The solar panel is nice, but it stops operation at the least passing cloud. The faux concrete finish is already coming off after less than one month use. There is no good way to change the water.

I love the look of this fountain, and I enjoy its sound when it's operating. I do wish there was a solar storage panel so that it would also run when there's no sun. Also, the directions for assembly were packed under all of the styrofoam. I didn't find them until I was breaking down the shipping box. I had called to ask about directions, but the directions I was given over the phone weren't completely clear. It's not hard to put together, even without directions, but I had missed one key thing.

The pump only works when the sun hits the solar panel. It should have a battery backup. The pump is not powerful enough to have water flow from all four sides of the top basin,- it barely bubbles.
The design is attractive though workmanship (finish) is not even!

The size and color make it look like it was made just for us and for the spot in which it was placed. It is not powerfull enough to scare birds so we enjoy watching them bath in the bowl. At the same time we would like a little more power from the pump as the water is just a trickle over the top bowl. It is enough so we can hear the 'waterfall' and that is nice. We do have to clean debris from the lower bowl to prevent clogs, perhaps a screen over the water recycle area would be helpful.

If this item wasn't so large, I would have returned it. I don't have the strength to box it up and take it to the post office. The lower bowl is now almost white since it started peeling after the first use and it clogs the pump. I'm afraid it's going to be a hazard to the birds. This was really a terrible item.

Love this product that my husband bought me for my birthday. I can see and hear it easily even from the house. The birds are starting to find it and that adds even more beauty. We have good sun and so it runs most of the day if it is sunny. We did add small screens over the inlets to keep out debris.

Attractive and good size. It's nice that the solar cell is on a cord. Pump works well. Since fountain needs to be scrubbed on a regular basis, the finish starts to come off within weeks. The length of tubing between the pump and top basin is too short---it is difficult to suction the pump to lower basin and makes cleaning fountain and pump intake more difficult. Looks sturdy but isn't---top tier took a slight knock on the driveway and got a long, deep crack along the joint. I guess I'd recommend it to a friend that was handy enough to do repairs.

This fountain looks beautiful in the garden, just like in the catalog picture. It is lightweight, easy to set up, and I hope will last a long time, since it is fairly expensive. The one drawback for me pertains to the solar panel and fountain pump--the cord is too short, and the pump is very weak--you don't really get a fountain of water, just a trickle. Also, there is no battery backup, so if the sun goes behind a cloud even for a moment, the fountain pump stops. I will be looking for a better quality pump to add to the fountain, with a longer cord.

It looks like it has been there for years! I like this design better than some others I've seen that have the solar panel within the top bowl. You can position this fountain anywhere in the garden and place the solar panel in the sun. It does cut in and out with the sun but that is outweighed by the easy set up and instant gratification it provides. I love mine!

so far I really like this product. The detachable solar panel is great, because you can move the panel anywhere to find the sun, without having to move the whole fountain. I like the look of the fountain, it looks like it is made of stone or concrete , but it is really resign based plastic, very lightweight...Easy to put together too!! I am concerned about how long the solar panel will last, the connectors are a little cheap looking, not very studry, but it is still working so I can't complain. I'v only had the fountain a month, so we will see how long the solar panel lasts.

This is an attractive bird-bath fountain, easy to clean. The birds like to drink out of the top bowl. I love the fact that it doesn't have to be plugged in. This way it can be placed anywhere. The only drawback is the fact that there is no way to replace the pump if it wears out. How can one be ordered without an order number, and do we contact Garden Supply?

A lovely addition to our gardens! It was installed just before a garden wedding that we had in our gardens in July, there were many admiring wedding guests, surprised that the fountain was solar powered.
I do wish that the pump was a little bigger, giving the water a little more drip. Solar batter storage would be nice too,for days that have no sun.

I splurged on this with a discount coupon three years ago, and love the way it looks and sounds. However, keeping the pump filter clean is a constant problem. I've had to replace pump three times in two years. Now I'm going to try the enzyme pads for bird baths to see if this helps. I've learned that the cover over filter can be easily slipped off to clean filter pad easily, but still, it's a hassle.
Also, as someone else mentioned, the finish does wear off easily, requiring very careful cleaning.
I just love the sound of running water, it's lovely to look at,love the convenience of solar power; so despite the hassle, I would not give it up for anything!

This fountain was easy to set up in my newly xeriscaped backyard. It is the focal point of the plants that are around it. After making sure that the solar panel received full sun, the pump operated well. When the shade takes over the panel, you have to reposition it for the fountain to keep working.

Even running low-voltage DC from a "power cube" can be a hassle, given need to run under sidewalks and around patios. We eagerly awaited the arrival of this fountain to be a focal point in our re-landscaped English country garden. I was able to put it together in less than 15 minutes and had the small planter surrounding it planted all within an hour. It turned out better than we had imagined! We love the sound of the water, and the birds have discovered it, adding to the total effect we were looking for. The only disappointment is that there is no battery reserve to keep the water flowing after sunset. No regrets...we'd buy it again!

Set up easily and withstood a couple of big windstorms. The solar power was neat but I wanted it to run longer than we had sunshine in that spot so we replaced it with an electric pump.

The fountain looks and sounds nice while the sun is on the solar panel. The pump is easy to access which is good because it constantly needs to be cleaned. There is a filter behind tiny slots. The only way I have found to clean it is to use a knife to insert into the slots and force the debris out while I hold the pump under water in a glass so as not to contaminate the fountain water.
Here on Cape Cod the pine pollen is severe. I hope that the problem will get better as we move into warmer weather. I think the design of the pump could be better.
The fountain will be easy to disassemble to take in for winter. Except for the pump, I love the product.

I looked at A LOT of fountains. This was the most authentic looking so far - plus it's lightweight, affordable, and easy to set-up and move - should I want to move it - which is exactly what I was looking for. No piping. No electricity. The setup couldn't be easier. At first the solar panel didn't work well in cloudy weather, but after 2 weeks we noticed that the fountain was running (slowly) even in overcast skies. If you want to hear the fountain at night, this is not the product for you - but if you can live with it during daylight hours - it's perfect. If you want something that's just EASY and looks nice up close and at a distance - this is perfect.
