I purchased this item last winter as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. It requires adjustment of the metal fins in order to spin at all. Upon assembly it was heavy on one side. After careful calculation of equal spacing between fins I began adjusting them only to find them to be very delicate. Very easy to bend beyond repair. Even equally spaced it does not spin very well and only for a turn or two in a good wind. It's also difficult to see in front of a dark background. Needs open space for good visibility. Looks nice but is not worth the money or headache. Suprised to see such inferior merchandise coming from Gardener's Supply. Wish I had returned it.

We love the idea and the look of the spinner. Plan on re-glueing the weights on, but other than that, it looks great from our deck!
