I was concerned about the windspinner working after reading some reviews but it looked so pretty in the catalog that I treated myself anyhow. [...] it came with instructions on how to adjust. I set it up and even without the adjustments it spins just fine. Everyone who sees it compliments how beautiful and mesmerizing it is to watch.

I am so happy with this purchase. I was a little nervous ordering it, because there were a couple of unfavorable reviews. However, I have had no problems with this ribbon spinner, it was easy to put together, and it's so fun to watch it spin in the wind. I have been enjoying having this in my garden. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it.

It really catches the eye we have ours in our flower garden/landscape in the backyard just where the wind is always blowing through so it is always turning. Maybe it will also help keep the critters away from out patio potted vegetables this summer as well. Just love it.

This spinner is outside of our patio door. We can easily see what the wind speed is. To enable us to see the spinner we have it directed at our patio door. So if the wind is coming from a different direction it doesn't spin. It would be nice to have a swivel at the base of the spinner so it could self-adjust to wind direction. All in all a very quality product.

I'm fussy about what I put in my garden and don't like a lot of decorations, but I love this spinner. I bought one for my sister who has a large English garden and my brother who has a small yard and shade garden, and they love theirs also. He especially likes the simple mechanics of the spinner and my sister is impressed by its quality as well as attractiveness and placed it where she could see it from her living room window and where it could also be seen from the street. Ours is just off the deck in a very visible spot. Great garden piece! Screw it together securely and check that it isn't loosening now and then. Ours has twice come undone in wild winds but we do enjoy watching it spin and reflect the light.
