The one that is inserted in the ground cannot support itself in an upright position so I stood it in the pot at the base of a solar lantern so that the pole of the lantern could support it upright. Consequently, there is no bobbing of the hummingbird.

It was a worthwhile buy

My wife loves hummingbirds. She has feeders, photos, books, caps,and now this unique and impressive looking piece. I placed it on the table in front of our large bay window in the living room and when she walked in she was really exited. It not only looks great inside the house but when you are walking up to the front door you can easily see it as you approach. Renee said "this is a winner" (as I hope I am in your contest).
