A water feature lets you enjoy the sights and sounds of moving water and adds a finishing touch to your landscape — and this solar pump kit makes it easy to create your own. Use it to add a vertical spray or bubbler in a pond or water garden, or build your own container fountain, without the headache of running extension cords. Kit includes the pump, a solar panel connected to the pump with a 14' cord (letting you place the pump in the shade), height extensions so you can place the fountain under water, a foam "island" so you can float the pump on the water surface, and three spray heads so you can create different spray patterns. Pump can be adjusted to spray water to three heights — 7", 15" and 19" — and can be hooked up to your own fountain head. The remote control can adjust pump to spray water to three heights — 7", 15" and 19"; turn the pump on and off; to adjust the spray pattern; or to set the timer so the fountain runs for 2 hours at the same time each day. We've tested many solar-powered fountains and find this one to be the most effective and most versatile.

Comments about All-Purpose Solar Pump:
The pump only worked one time it did not come on the same time the next day. Then I tried to let it charge up and then I started it up again and I cut it off then tried to restart it, but it would not come back on. It only works once then you have to disconnect it then let it set for a day then reconnect it for it to only work for 2 hours.

Comments about All-Purpose Solar Pump:
I am using the product in a small water feature, but it isn't strong enough to produce much flow through the small pot I ran the water line through. It doesn't create much sound as a result. Also, the fact that it turns itself off after two hours (I thought that was an option)isn't good to keep the water moving and mosquitos from laying eggs on the surface. I think I will probably use it somewhere else in the garden and hook up my old electric pumpin the water feature ,

Comments about All-Purpose Solar Pump:
I tried a cheaper version but this one was the better performer. Still may go to the typical electrical because would prefer a longer period of water flow.

Comments about All-Purpose Solar Pump:
A little over priced, but what your paying for is the solar storage battery. I was trying to use this in a very large pot, but it traveled too much and the water from the fountain would not stay in the pot, kept moving to the edge. There is a sand packet to attach to help it stay in one place, but the water sound was not loud enough, which was the bottom line in my returning it. Didn't hook up the sand packet so that may work in keeping it in one place. But since I was returning it, I didn't fool with it.
