I started with one of each size. I thought of so many uses, I kept ordering more. I may be up to 10, not including the ones I've bought for friends and family. The large and medium sizes are perfect for yard cleanup and because they're so flexible, it's easy to "pour" the contents into a big paper yard-waste recycle sack - no more collapsing paper sacks! The small is great for watering plants. A medium green one holds a fountain and three water plants. My niece uses one for her baby's toys, that is when the baby isn't sitting in it and being pulled around the floor, squealing with delight. Who needs expensive toy cars when a tub trug will do? They hold ice and cold drinks, groceries in the back of the car, kayak gear, recycling, and cat toys. I don't know how I got along without them!

I got the 7 gallon Tubtrug. It's first assignment was to carry bricks from my neighbors yard to mine. I filled it as full as I could - making two trips. I was exhausted - it went unscathed. So far I've use it for carrying garden tools and gathering weeds. I imagine it will be perfect for harvesting my produce when it's ready. I got one for my neighbor who first used it for her hand-washables and now uses it for her weeding. I got one for my boyfriend who used it for cleaning out gutters - and was thrilled that it was lightweight and easy to maneuver. We love our Tubtrugs! :)

I've been using a big utility bucket and while it's been OK, these tubtrugs are much easier to handle. The metal handle on the bucket was constantly in the way when trying to dump contents into a bag. The handles on the tubtrug are included in the rim and are never a hindrance. Also, since the tubtrug is flexible, it's easier to direct the contents into a bag thus avoiding spills. So far, I've used these only for weeding and carrying plants and tools, but I know they will be useful in other ways the longer I have them.

The large tubtrugs I use for carrying around laundry, emptying the dryer and organizing folded garments, towels etc. The medium size I use in the garden to hold soil and mulch as I move from plant to plant. Under filling the tubtrug allows me to carry it in one hand. I carry one in each hand and load a few needed hand tools into them too then move around the perimeter of the house, amending the soil. It's so much easier than pushing a wheelbarrow or dragging large bags of soil. I love the cheerful colors, especially the yellow and lavender. I also leave one large trug in a handy outdoor location where I can collect garden trimmings for composting later. Caution: if you place like sized tubtrugs inside each other they might get stuck together, at least when new.

Love the trugs. I use to use a bucket until it got a crack in it and I needed something else. I've seen the trugs in the catalogs before and have always wanted to get one. I purchased this item to store my 5 year old's bath toys! I can load it up with wet toys straight from the tub and empty out the drained water the next morning. I own several of these in different colors; and I must say are worth every penny! I use them all season long for every gardening chore you can think of. After hauling compost just a quick squirt of the hose makes them ready for picking apples or bringing in heavy loads of squash from the garden. They are great for gathering toys and games for a picnic or the beach too. I also like to fill them with produce for the farmer's market, as they are rugged yet make a colorful, eyecatching display.
The best part is that during the rest of the year I use them inside for clothes baskets, hauling water to my humidifiers and storing bags of potting soil for repotting house plants and having seed starter easily available in the basement during mid-winter. I am a very frugal person and can tell you that you will get your money's worth out of them. I have had some of mine for 3 years now and they show no signs of wear at all!

When I first bought the larger Tubtrug, purchased it not realizing just how much I would use it. Very convenient and Light weight, so you can carry it all around the yard while pruning or weeding. I use these when weeding - easy to toss weeds into, then easy to carry to the compost pile. I leave them out in the yard between uses so that they collect rain water; then if you grasp the two handles together they form a handy spout to poor the rainwater. Also I use them when collecting spent flower stalks: I cut off the stalks and place them upside down in the trugs to dry. When dry, I shake the stalks, the seeds fall into the bottom of the trug, and then I can pour them out into small containers for use the next year. And the trugs are pretty!!

I have three sizes so far (2 of the large ones, a medium and a small) and use one just to carry gardening tools around with me, one is usually used to collect garden refuse, and then dumped into the gardenway cart. I use this tub to hold paper & plastic recycling items on the first floor before carrying downstairs to larger bins in garage. It is perfect! Not only is it colorful and easy on the eyes, but the handles make it possible for me to easily carry it fully loaded down a flight of 15 steps and out to garage. I suffer from arthritis and found the container I was using previously for this purpose not at all user-friendly. I will be ordering additional tubs for other uses outside in garden and also inside the house. I have them in every size, and they can be used for any task you can think of -- throwing the weeds into, piling in extra soil, holding the freshly cut flowers -- you name it, they can be used for it. Use it for carrying any and everything. If it isn't too full, the handles come together to make it really easy to carry, but when I overstuff it, it's not a problem to carry. The container's flexibility helps -- but it's not too flexible that everything falls out either.

I have three of these & love them. I've used them when transplanting--new soil mix are easy to pour when handles are held together. They hold a surprising amount of weight. The edge can get pretty flat if you need to sweep into it. They're light & big enough to toss into as you deadhead. They are colorful & a pleasure to spot in the bushes. They are lightweight and yet strong enough to even hold/transport the glass bottles we recycle in the largest size tubtrug. They look nice all lined up in our laundry room and easily wipe clean. The only ding (and why I gave them a 4 and not 5 star rating) is the plastic smell they give off when they get hot and for the first few weeks after they arrive. If you have them in a small space, you will want to make sure there is adequate ventilation until the smell goes away. Other than that, I highly recommend them!

These are really helpful in the garden. They are light weight and you can pull them along with you as you go. Once filled they are flexible to bend in sides to pour contents into a leaf bag easily.

Its small enough to lug my hand tools, knee pads, etc. I also use it to carry trash until I get to the proper place to discard it. I may decided to transplant extra violets to another spot while I'm working, so I Toss them in the trug with everthing else.

This tub is so versatile. I use it when I weed, to transport plants, transporting mulch/dirt, and as a water bucket. What makes it easy to use is that it's lightweight, flexible, and will not rust or dent.

I have carried everything from lawn refuse to a batch of kittens, 11 to be exact, from place to place. Very versatile and very attractive colors. Recently used the smallest to make "Dirt" as my son's "groom's cake". It was a HUGE hit!!

I own two tubtrugs - one for mixing my garden soil and to carry it from bed to bed when planting. The other one contains my tools and later on the weeds. Since the tubtrugs are different colors I always know what's where. Also,they bend easily so that they are excellent for carrying around the yard.
