I water my plants with them, inside and out. I pick up lawn clippings in the yard. I also use the smaller one to mix a little laundry detergent and water to do some heavy cleaning in the house. I put towels in them and then put something I have made for church for our church supper instead of spilling it all over the place. I would have one of each color, but I don't think my husband would think too much about that. Oh well!!

The adults at our house use a big bucket, and our 4 yr. old wants her own too. We have ordered three of these for Christmas gifts for the gardening kids in our family (daughter, niece and nephew). My son gave me the tractor for my birthday and I ordered the violet 3.5 gal. Tubrug to go with it. I ordered it because I thought it would be colorful and fun to look at. It is both of those, but it is also very handy when weeding. Its lightweight, pliable and easier to carry than a bucket. I am seriously thinking of ordering it again in a larger size.

With 5 grandchildren, this is a must have tub. My grandsons have lots of matchbox cars, airplains, little characters, and this tub is exactly what thay need to carry them to the play area, store them, and they can use this to pick up toys, books, to take to the approopriate place, as it is so light and flexable. I have gone through multiple garden tubs that ended up cracking, or had the handle tear out of the tub after some use. These tubs are incredibly strong and durable, even in cold weather. I bought one to try for yard work, and ended up going back and buying a couple more for yard work and harvesting from the garden. I highly recommend them.

I purchased this product because I needed something to replace the hard bucket I was using to tote my small gardening tools/twine/etc around. It is sturdy and flexible. The size is perfect and the colors are cute. Getting water from the rain barrel to the garden is a chore no more. I fill up a big washtub (below grade of rain barrel) and then dip the water out using mytubtrug. Water doesn't spill as I walk and then it's easy to direct the water onto just the plants I want. Sure it's great for other uses too, but this summer watering without draining our well is top priority.

I use the tub trugs for vegetable harvesting.
Tubs are stable and stay upright when placed on the ground. This frees up both my hands for picking. And, it's easy to fill and carry several trugs at a time, one for each veggie variety.
I drilled holes in the bottom of each so I can leave a stack of 3-4 various sized tubs right in the gardens and they won't collect water. Holes also allow me to rinse the veggies outside with the garden hose before bringing them into the kitchen.

I have used this tote for so many things and I've only had it a short while. I bought one for my gardening tools (I volunteer several different places and have to keep a "go" bag in my car) and another one for multipurpose, such as bringing iced drinks out to the deck. I have seen cheaper versions of this in the store, but these are much more rubbery and sturdier.

I have two medium size and just purchased the smaller 3 1/2 gallon size to carry my tools and smaller items. I just love these, I use them everyday in the garden. Easy to grab for quick weeding or pruning. If I'm moving a plant I just put it right in the bucket for easy transporting to new location. For years I was looking for a laundry basket that resembled a tote bag. When I saw this in the catalog I was delighted. After my initial purchase of the large size for laundry I have found many other uses and subsequently bought the other sizes. I use them to carry my gardening supplies; to sort clothes, to mix soil, to weeds, to carry things that have moisture (meats), to transport things in my car. etc. Every week I find another use. I wanted to use the product to carry pruned material and clippings but it is far smaller than I thought. I'm not a good judge of what 3.5 gallons is! I needed a basket more the size of a bushel basket and I wish you would make one as bushel baskets are almost impossible to find anymore.

I bought a tub of each size and am finding all 3 useful. I use the 2 largest sizes to hold and mix potting soil. The small one is just handy for a lot of things. I am clearing ivy, weeding, putting down mulch, digging up shrubs - a general overhaul of the yard. These TubTrugs are wonderful. I purchased one in each size and have used them all. To be able to grab three containers in one hand, carry tools in them and still have one hand free is great. I use one for trash, one for brush to throw out back and one for ivy or weeds to be recycled by the city. I can work a large area without having to constantly empty containers or get everything mixed up. These are just terrific tools.

I got the 7 gallon size and found it perfect for hauling compost and soil to amend my veggie beds in the spring--big enough to hold significant amounts without hurting my back to carry it. Then I found it very useful for weeding, carrying tools, and garden clean up. I loved it so much I then bought the 3 1/2 gallon size for harvesting veggies every morning. And the bright cheery colors make me smile. I only wish they could handle the cold, so I could store them with my other gardening supplies (sheltered, but not heated).

I have always used bushel baskets in the past but the splints tend to break and yard material fall through the cracks. The plastic tubs are light weight and wonderful. I have one in each size and they are great for all jobs!

I own a small Landscaping Company. Several years ago we discovered trugs when they first became available. There was only one size at that time. It didn't take long to realize that these guys were going to be the star of the landscaping show! They are indestructable, easy to use and there isn't a job that we do that doesn't involve one of these in some size or other.
At home I use them for collecting the dehumidifier water to carry out to the rain barrels. I also found them to very helpful one day when I was opening a box of ceramic slip. I've never been able to pour a new box of slip with out making a big mess. That day I grabbed a trug, sat the bag inside and cut a corner off. The slip drained out and I didn't lose a drop. Then I just poured the slip from the trug into my molds and away we go!

I initially bought one for my personal use out in the garden. Lately, I have not always been able to find it. They're lightweight, flexible yet super strong and sturdy... and who could resist the colors! I have both a 7 and 3 1/2 gallon Trugtub. The 7 gallon seems to be the most versitile. It's big enough for around the yard, but when full, not too heavy to pick up. The 3 1/2 gallon is great for smaller jobs.

This size is my favorite! We own 3 at the moment, 2 in the grand daughters bedroom with toys in them (great for easy cleanup, they accomodate any shape toys as they are flexible). One in the backyard was originally for my weeds as I puttered in the yard weed pulling. Then I used it to mix up some potting soil and now it has become the dogs water dish. So now I need to buy at least one more but probably will get 2. It is also super (and this is my favorite) as a watering can! I already had the medium sized tub which I found extremely useful. (My husband and I used it to dump compost on my flower beds a few weeks ago!)Then I decided that the smallest ones would make neat and useful "Easter Baskets" for my grandaughters in their favorite colors. Of course, I had to order a small one for myself; and it has now become my best tool in the yard because it is so easy for me to carry. I love that it can just be rinsed under the hose when I'm finished weeding, etc. So far I haven't discovered any negatives--some have said that it will crack in cold weather--I store mine in the shed in winter, so I don't know about it cracking.

This size is so perfect for mixing the fish fertilizer that I use. Once mixed I can dip my watering can into the trug to scoop out fertilizer and apply slowly to my garden. I can also carry this size full of liquid, and it makes a great pouring bucket to add large quantities quickly. So great in many ways. My 2 year old grandson loved my 3 1/2 gallon tubtrug so much that I bought him one for his birthday. He loves putting his toys and things into it and carrying it around.

We liked our 7gal tub so much I got a smaller version. Since its been a cold summer in Minnesota, the small tub is all we need for bringing in the weekly harvest, and it fits in the sink to rinse veggies too! Also doubles as a toddler hat if you are have a 1yr old around.

Love its size, heavy durable construction, light weight, love the handles, has many uses, and how easy it is to clean! Great product.I saw a "cheap" imitation at the grocery store yesterday and said "No Way!" My husband questioned my order but now he is a believer! It beats making do with a colander, or what ever else we use to grab in the kitchen to make do.

I HAVE ONE THAT MY HUSBAND DRILLED SMALL HOLES ON THE BOTTOM OF ONE SHORT SIDE, AND I USE IT TO GATHER GARDEN VEGIES, AND AM THEN ABLE TO RINSE THEM IN THE TRUG BEFORE TAKING INTO THE HOUSE, NICE AND CLEAN.

I use it ever day in the garden becouse of it is so light wight and easy to carry and I can leve it out in the rain and not fear it coming a part and I have recommend it to my friend it is also great to use in the kitchen and in the car.

I leave this smaller version on my back porch so it is easy to access when I spot a wayward weed or flower that needs dead-heading. The size is perfect.....not so big that it is in the way.....not too small to be effective. One of my best purchases by far!

I've been using them for years! I love them! They're perfect! I have them in the 7 gallon and 11 gallon sizes. I'm always needing more each year! I have a lot of them and have all the colors shown in the 11 gallon size! Very colorful!

Many, many uses in the garden and garage! I plan on getting more just to use inside the house to hold and store items. Great for transporting potted plants, mixing up soil, carrying mulch to the garden, storing garden items in the garage and in the garden while I'm doing some digging and planting, holding and pouring water, carrying small garden tools out to the flower beds, etc....

Wish I had one in every color. I use them in the house because they are too pretty to get dirty. Useful for organizing and for carrying things from place to place. Mini trugs would be so cute--wish they had them too.

I've used it for everything. I need to purchase another for in the house. I have used it for hauling laundry, as a chiller for drinks at a garden party, to carry fresh cut flowers for arranging, etc. I had purchased it to carry while I deadhead my roses.

These buckets are one of the best things I've bought from Gardner's Supply. I have all the sizes and use them inside and outside all year long. I use the small one for carrying my little garden tools around. The larger ones I use for mixing soil, lugging around large bushes for transplanting, washing the car and the list goes on. After a very good scrub I've even used them for ice buckets to hold cold drinks at our summer barbeques. You'll never run out of uses for these great tubtrugs.

I use these buckets to prune plants, collect water, carry water, harvest food, carry tools, seeds and other garden supplies, then wash them out to entertain. They are great ice/drink buckets, game and toy buckets, apple-bobbing buckets...then they all stack to put away when not needed. Love 'em!

The Tubtrug is one of the handiest tool for all types of garden use. I use them in all sizes for general cleanup, pulling weeds, trimming limbs, cleaning up leaves, even hauling water. I've been carrying my gloves, pruning sheers etc. around with it. But it's also a great to use when weeding. I've harvested my tomatoes with it and used it as a watering can. All this with the smallest of the three sizes ! But I will get the other ones, too -they would be great as a tub for drinks or for the fall garden clean-up.

I bought 2 sizes of this item, the small and med. I find the small one to be extremely useful and wish I'd just gotten 2 of them. I use it to carry weeds I've pulled (and a plastic grocery bag fits in side reasonably well for easy clean up). You can harvest veggies or flowers and carry them in this (with our without water). I have also used to moisten potting soil. Since they are bendable, it's easy to rinse out and use the muddy water for other plants (thus no wasting water). This is just an excellent find.
